  1. Hey, I had this on 12" vinyl (Extended Remix) when it came out!!!
  2. Will I have to stand on my head to recognize you?
  3. Yes, but I'm looking at $1,000's of dollars in clothes and professional dry cleaning that is just going to go to the thrift store if no one wants these - they are friggin' nice too!
  4. Hey guys, Don't know how often you check the clothing exchange forum, but I've posted a bunch of free stuff. Check it out if you're interested! Thanks!
  5. 6 great shirts, either dress or dressy casual - yours FREE just help out w/Shipping Costs!
  6. 4 pairs of men's jeans. 1 of the pairs have only been worn once and I paid $70 for them @ Casual Male. FREE, just help me w/shipping costs!
  7. I chose the sleeve because I did not want to experience dumping or deal with malabsorption issues. I feel like a "normal" person who just eats really tiny portions of food and is never hungry. Love my sleeve - it saved my life mentally and physically!
  8. I was accused of "changing" within my first week post-op as well. I think the shift where I always put others first to ME first was what was being detected. I was shocked, but thought about it and agreed. "Yes, yes I've changed...for the better and you are going to have a happier, much healthier partner as a result." You two will have the advantage of having a similar experience and goal, but you'll need to be prepared for the "now what?" moment when you are both at goal. Btw, we are doing great 10 weeks and my partner is "feeling the love" a lot right now...if you know what I mean?
  9. Could your nerves still be healing so you "can't" fully feel full. Don't push it - you might hurt yourself!
  10. Awwww... hang in there! Notice the operative word "YET" - I fully expect them as part of the process. Go try on smaller clothes - you might be surprised!! We'll all be here to Celebrate when yours breaks! Stay focused, you've got this!!!
  11. I don't weigh myself daily and I bump my calories up a few times a week to keep my body confused. I'm in week #11 now, no stalls...yet!
  12. Say what!!??? Wow - total transformation! You go, girl!!!
  13. With my lack of rhythm, it could be down-right dangerous for the other people in the class!
  14. Sexy Mama! Looooove the hat Proud of you, girl!
  15. Met with my nutritionist today and I am officially allowed to eat anything I want. I've not demonstrated any food intolerances and need to boost my Protein and caloric intake. It's weird though because I don't really don't feel like introducing anything new. The purpose of this post is to give people encouragement and hope that life gets pretty normal regarding food and as long as you stick to the basics and listen to your body, you'll do great!
  16. Shanked in prison...that's my go-to story!
  17. It's happened to me too. I even went to Orlando where they have a few seats on the rides for big people and I was STILL too big! Not anymore I can sit comfortably in an airplane seat, use the belt (no extender) and I believe I am under the weight limit to use the slides in Water parks, so I am looking forward to summer. Of course I am going to look very, uh, interesting in a bathing suit, but who cares? Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee !!!
  18. Greek yogurt and string cheese really helps boost my protein - sound like you might have caloric room for that!
  19. I didn't weigh myself until 1 week post-op. My surgical team/center prepared me with a lot of information, so I was fully aware I would have Water retention right after surgery for a few days (if not a week). I was down 12 lbs after my first week (and that was with an additional 18 lb loss on the 2 week pre-op diet as well). I still only weigh myself once a week. I think it keeps me focused on the program and not a number.
  20. Sleeve was the clear choice for me as there are no malabsorption issues.
  21. Doing good - busy as hell! Not ready to pick out my summer speedo - but getting there
  22. Don't worry - I'll join back in when it goes wildly off-topic!
