  1. My insurance wouldn't pay so I decided to have my suregery in Mexico. I was so nervous but decided to to it and never look back. My surgery was 12 days ago...what a great experience! I didn't take any pain medication afterwords and still feel great. I recommend you walk as much as possible after surgery. I found myself sore from walking (legs and butt) and not from the surgery itself. The pre-op diet was the hardest for me. I quit drinking Diet Coke 4 days before surgery...that so far has been the hardest thing for me. I don't even think about it now...but those four days were hell for me. I have lost 13 pounds in 12 days so I feel like my journey is just beginning. So my advice is walk, walk, walk...and then walk some more )
