I had infertility issues for over 11 years of being married , I have several infertility treatments , due to hormonal imbalances and pcos , I was told it would be hard for me to get pregnant . I went in for surgery on 1/18/12 hoping this would be my last option. I got pregnant 7 months later , after losing 75+ pound . Sadly I miscarried at 9wks , but I had not given up hope , a month later I was pregnant again which I have now given birth to 4 months ago. I am glad to say that I'm truly blessed after 11 years of trying.

So happy Tara got on board and has done well. They made me get off the bed and do some weight lifting thanks TLC

You said it girls!! The husband was a total enabler. And by the end I felt really bad for the surgeon....it seemed he acted about her future more than they did....ugh!

I agree! I mean I'm a year out of sleeve surgery and even a little fried food tears my stomach up so I avoid it! She was eating a ton of those things after only being sleeved a few months! And don't get me started on the husband....he's no dr but he thinks fried wontons are better than takeout?!!? Omg!! And asking her in the hospital if she wanted ice cream, I almost fainted! She's very selfish in my opinion and she took the whole thing like a joke. Saying the dietician was stupid and she wouldn't even try anything during physical therapy except give excuses! Geez....
It's not easy. God knows I'm not perfect but I try. It takes work and with her it's like she has given up and doesn't want to try. Yes I would also be interested to see how she's doing today.

Her story made us look bad! Frustration watching.. Yes. Compassion for her .. No and feel guilty but this works only if you are willing to do the work! She clearly was not! Poor son and husband?

I saw that one also and was equally frustrated!! It was so sad to just watch her with excuse after excuse!! I'd like to know what her outcome is now, since the show aired and everything.

I was only 5 months post op and for pregnant ) lost the same amount of weight too! Pregnancy went well, and I'm still losing!! So go for it, getting pregnant was my reason to get the VSG!! Don't let anyone tell you not to get pregnant, if you want to just do it!!

I just tried in a pair of my daughters jeans, size 8 to see how far away I am from fitting into an 8. They fit! For the first time in my life I was able to put on, button and zip and single digit!! That is by far the most awesome thing to me!

My first Thanksgiving, 8 days out from surgery. I had 1/4 cup pureed dark meat and two bites of a green bean. And I was full. I can't lie, I was eyeing the stuffing and mashed potatoes. I even put a small bit of sweet potato on my plate, mashed it up, and gave it to my husband. Even passed on the homemade pecan and pumpkin pies!

I impressed myself!!

. That is amazing! Congrats! I bought 3 blazers at ny and co 70% off. I like to wear separates because my top is smaller than my bottom and every suit needs to be altered. I am a keen sale shopper!

Woo hoo! I went shopping yesterday. Three pairs of black pants in a size TWELVE! Three bras and 6 panties because it was a buy 3 get three free deal, two shapers in a large. Oh I love those pants because did I mention they were a size 12?
I bought cheapo undies though, saving the VS bucks for later, mainly because I have to spend some on work clothes.
Boy I bet you had fun at VS!

GG. The question is, what didn't I buy!?! I just had to get some new bras and new clothes. I won't be one of those that will shop only when I get to goal. Closing the lane Bryant charge card. Nothing fits there!! Hello Victorias Secret!
