So i am now 7 weeks post op , things are A LOT better as far as pain and being able to move around sleep better work out and i have energy back lol , im now down to 250lbs from being 293 day of ... im happy and proud of my progress so far , But as far as my diet stage im still on a majority of just liquids Ive tried softer foods and cant tolerate them at all , i mostly do water g2 gatorade protien shakes sugar free apple sauce popsicles and weight watchers string cheese Im sure it will get better go for my next doc appointment Jan 30th and i am excited too see how the docs pleased with my progress, also my irons Low cause i bruise SUPER easy lol ..... and im excited for summer and clothes are already fitting me diffferent

Tomorrow will be my 1 month since i was sleeved , It might only be a short time but Im getting more and more excited about the weight loss even if i dont notice but small changes , I was 293 i am now 258 as of today I think its since im still on the liquid phase since its hard tolerating the pureed foods , I go see my doc Jan 30th and im excited to see what he says My goal is to not be overly skinny but Be healthy the right size for my body where i feel comfortable reason i chose the sleeve . Hopefully soon ill be in the gym to tone and walk the treadmills , Im excited for summer as well since we are possibly moving to fla... and to be more active with my kids Sleeve is a tool by no means is it easy you have to work hard to get the results you want!! , im glad i got it done

    thank you , as of today scale reads 258 i weigh myself like 3 times just to make sure lol I guess it since im still on the liquids and havent advanced to pureed foods since my stomach still wont tolerate them tomrrow ill be 1 month post op and cant wait for the next few months To pass so i can see the change

    Hi Im located in ft.lewis wa I was sleeved dec 11th 2012 im now down 32lbs from 293 day of surgery to 261 post op , Congrats and good luck , the first few days are the hardest remember to walk walk walk helps heal faster and Mind over matter =)

I had my surgery done dec 11th 2012 i was 293 im now almost 1 month post op and im down to 265lbs , The first few days were hard , but now i can say im happy i went through with it , still having issues getting all my protien in and liquid but its getting better i also am still on full liquids My stomach just wont tolerate pureed foods yet the best thing i found was a wonton egg drop soup but other than that its liquids and shakes for me....... ive attached my pre op and post op pic below just to show the little change red shirt was day of surgery purple shirt was jan 5th
