  1. I would guess No! Just from the way I feel when I take too big a drink! :-(
  2. I could do what I wanted...up & go to the store, etc. But I did get tired easily!
  3. I actually gained 3 lbs! :-(. But didn't stop my from getting approved!
  4. It's normal! But really...it's not a bad surgery! Think of itvas the first day of thecrest of your life! Good luck & post when you can!
  5. 5.6 gr in 1 ball the way I made them. I make mine a little smaller then a golf ball
  6. That's weird, I got 40 protein balls at 72 cal & 5.6 gr protein per ball? I also realized the dried fruit added calories...but no protein! Next time I think I'll omit these...don't think I will miss them & they'll still be yummy!
  7. I was going to count them next time & see too...it depends on how big you make them...but it filled my cookie sheet...packed! I need to make some more next week...I can let you know then! I still LOVE them! Thanks again Carrie! :-D
  8. Relax! I was cleared by my surgeon to eat reg food around that time! All docs have different ideas! Just like mine doesn't require a pre-op diet! If I lived eating food by permission...you should be fine. I would check with your doc as soon as you can & follow his advice!
  9. I was released to eat reg food around that time...it's just up to your specific doc...what I'm saying is you should be fine. If I was given permission...& survived...you should too. Just be careful.
  10. I kinda put it into perspective when I was whining one day to my hubby about my slow weight loss & he said "well, before the surgery would you have been happy losing an avg of 2-3 lbs every week?" heck yes I would! Soooo, what's different? Be happy!
  11. Hey...I'm right with you...going on 7 wks post op & down 20 lbs! I'm trying to look at it optimistically....they say if you loose slower your skin has time to adjust & doesn't sag as much...don't know if that's really true, but at this point I'll take anything positive! STAY off the scale so much..weigh like once every 2 wks! We're women & hormones make our bodies do weird things...so do not weigh everyday! As long as the scale is moving...its all good!
  12. WTH is wrong with some of you?? Why are you attacking someone who just asked for your help? Who are you to question her friendship or feelings? If she feels she cannot go....RESPECT her decision! I know, most of us were fine at two weeks....but SHE knows her own body & feels she doesn't want to chance it...so BACK OFF! If you can't help her....then DON'T post anything!! OMG!
  13. Today is the first day of the rest of you life!! Good luck on your journey! :-)
  14. Ok, I get it...you've made up your mind. Can you say you have a seminar for work that you must attend?
  15. If it's a few weeks after your surgery, I say GO! You will enjoy it!
  16. It's called a ticker, go into your profile & click tickers...it will walk you through it!
  17. Yep, just keep doing what your doc says & keep up the good work!
  18. Way to get their attention laneyBee31! lol
  19. I too have Aetna, all plans are different. I had to have 6 mo nutritional plan, submit 2 yrs of weight history from PCP, psych eval, & EGD.
