  1. Yes, like T said...they are amazing!
  2. Your not lying...you ARE concentrating on protein & limiting carbs! Just leave it at that!
  3. You won't die...but may feel bad & ruin your concert...I'd search for water if I was you! I've had soda..not that soon, but I have had some & not died....just wouldn't chance the first encounter while out.
  4. I totally understand! That's why I only told family....didn't want all the comments, looks & everyone watching my weight loss!
  5. Wow, your doing great! Keep up the good work...you look great!
  6. My understanding is this is another thing that was passed on from the rules of bypass surgery...which is more extensive. Many of the doctors no longer require it...it just depends on your surgeon. Just like all the various rules of eating post-op...my doc cleared me for regular food after week 2, when others go 6-8 wks.
  7. Love MFP...although it does yell at me everyday for not eating enough! :-/
  8. I only had liquid diet day before as well....2 mo out & had no problems!
  9. Praying for your family! Like they said...give yourself a break....it's hard to be so far away from loved ones, especially when their sick!
  10. If I REALLY want something....I have it! I did just have a couple pieces of popcorn a couple weeks ago when my Sis was eating some, just a few pieces & I was satisfied! I find if I don't allow myself to have what I really want ( & seriously, I've found I'm done after a small bite or two) then I will over compensate trying to find "acceptable" options & eventually eating 2-3x the calories then if I'd gone ahead & had what I wanted in the first place! So I don't deprive myself...just moderation!
  11. I would def go get it checked out!
  12. Woohoo! Losers bench here you come!
  13. Wow..you are doing awesome! I'm 2 mo out & can only do 30 min 5x a week
  14. I think the best deterrent is the back lash we get from our new tummies! Like my dr told me...if it hurts..don't do it again! Simple, but true! Just get back on target & you'll be fine, we all give in to our weaknesses every once in awhile!
  15. They DO make us jump through enough hoops! Good luck!
  16. ZOFRAN!! Then I had a cream to put on my wrist when I went home...worked great!
  17. The medical records person at my PCP's office said the same thing when I pressed about my records. Just try & be nice or she "accidentally" screw it up! :-(
  18. Tomorrow is a new day...pick yourself up & dust yourself off & get back on the program!
  19. Oh, that is sooo many violations! You can totally appeal her evaluation! & I would file a complaint with HR!
  20. Lol...I'm glad I'm not the only "burpy" one! :-)
  21. Wow...congratulations, you look amazing!
  22. I get "burpy" when I get full...no hiccups...just "burpy"!
