should i be worried?

Soooo I'm 4 days out and other than having normal pains, I was doing fine until yesterday and I started to run a fever that got up to 102. I called my surgeon and he told me that sometimes the anesthesia can cause fluid to gather in the lungs and he told me to use my spirometer more often, and sure enough the fever went down and I felt much better. Today I woke up and my stomach kind of hurts in the normal way it has been, but my stomach feels more swollen than before and slightly distended. I don't have any more pain than I have been, I'm just a little concerned. Hoping that there aren't any leaks. What are the usual symptoms?

Well, I haven't had the fever since yesterday. Doing more breathing like my doc said got rid of that fever in just a few hours. I'm just worried about more abdominal swelling and pain, but it seems to be getting better.

You should go get checked out just to be on the safe side.

I'm taking hydrocodone for pain. I just started having bowel movements (if that's what you call them)last night around 3am, so I'm wondering if somehow that doesn't have something to do with it.
