  1. With that determination I'm sure you WILL do it & do amazing!! Go for it!!
  2. Your right...everyone's doctor's are different. I was cleared for real food after 2 weeks & have had no problems. Best advice is to follow what YOUR doctor says! Good luck!
  3. Congratulations! You will not regret it!
  4. Everyone is different. Some cant tolerate certain things...then some (like me) can't eat anything I did before! The only thing I have found my new sleeve doesn't like is raw onions...I just get a little "burpy" other then that I eat what I want..just much smaller portions!
  5. Just one...they melt on your tongue & work pretty fast!
  6. Sorry, I am def NOT a runner! If I'm running....someone is chasing me with a machete!! :-(
  7. Gas Ex strips are amazing!!
  8. I'm in the same boat! I've lost 25 lbs since sleeved....& my hubby (not sleeved) has lost 20! I think that should be mine too!! Lol....JK, I'm very proud of him!
  9. Welcome...& good luck on your journey!
  10. Sweet! & your positive outlook is great!
  11. Mine brought me home chocolate covered strawberries ( ok, I actually enjoyed one!) & a flipping Cheesecake!! He's fixing to wear that!!! :-(
  12. Oh, we had surgery the same day...your doing great! Do you drink shakes?
  13. ok, my surgeon says he would rather me eat my protein instead of drink it, says protein shakes are "empty calories'! But there is no way I can eat enough to get 60+ gr of protein in a day! I usually get 40-50 without a shake! Has anyone else been able to do it without shakes??
  14. Oh, I hope not! Praying things get better for you!
  15. I never got any results either. He just talked to me for a few minutes, said "good luck" & charged me a co-pay! I got my surgery though! Lol.....who knows...maybe their watching me & plotting my capture!! ROFL!
  16. & I make sure to get 64oz of water..I drink water all day...carry it with me wherever I go!
  17. Like I said...I was released to eat anything at week 2. But usually I have an egg for breakfast, for lunch a pkg of tuna or 1/2 an Atkins frozen dinner, some nuts or 1/2 an orange for snack, then for dinner 3-4oz of protein (usually chicken, maybe 1/2 a hamburger patty). If I get hungry later I might have a protein ball (there's a recipe on the site) or a piece of cheese. I usually eat between 500-700 calories & get between 45-60 gr protein.
  18. Doesn't sound like your getting near enough protein or water. But your still not taking in enough calories to stop your weight loss. I would suggest trying to snack on something with protein instead of the jello/pudding. What have you been released to eat? I was allowed anything at 2 wks...but all doctors are different.
  19. What r u eating? Maybe that would help us to see if there's a problem? I think your just adjusting & it will happen...I've only lost 25 lbs & I'm not quiet 2 months out.
  20. OMG! Nothing like a stress test with your psych eval! Lol
