  1. I would not go for the unfill. I have the mucus problem too. My fill doctor recommended using Alavert-D in the disolvable tablets. They disolve on your tongue. They have helped me tremendously. You have to get rid of the problem causing the mucus before you worry about an unfill. I would talk to your doctor about liquid forms and disolvable forms of medications you can use to help you out. This is just a suggestion before you go for an unfill. Everyone has that crap worse when they lay down, lap band or not. I would ask you doc about this rather than the unfill.
  2. So awesome!!! Congratulations on your weightloss...I love it when that number excites me tooo!!!!
  3. How long did it take you to do your whole head?? AB FAB DAHLING!!
  4. If we are on sandwiches now, I could use my grilled cheese with bacon on honey wheat!
  5. It's better you don't know Kelly...
  6. TATOR TOT PIE!!! My mouth is watering...Mostly anything with the word PIE in it is ok in my book!
  7. SO ok, FIRST OF ALL...I can't believe you don't know what it is!! But now let me tell you of it's deliciousness. It is Frito's covered in hot chili and melted cheese...some add extras like onions or jalapenos, but there is nothing better that just plain ol chili and cheese on Frito's. Can you believe they served this in my Junior High School? And I wonder why my left ass cheek is so large....
  8. Delarla only if it is not deep fried!
  9. I have the same problem...so true about the love novels. You would think the food network is porn in my household as much as I love watching it and wondering what the stuff would taste like. Deep fried pickles is definately southern. I can't get enough of them. Mostly, I can't get enough of anything deep fried! HA!
  10. Yeah, the doc recommends 3 days but I thought I would kick start my weightloss like the beginning again. I find my cravings go away after a week or so. I know it's not as healthy as can be. But, I am drinking my protein shakes and getting plenty of liquids in. I just have to get past these cravings they are killing me!!

chili dogs from junior high school lunchroom sweet and sour chicken from Chi's Wok tuna salad from my friend's Nanny's kitchen fried pickles with ranch from The Steak Co. fried chicken sandwich from Denny's chips and hot sauce from Don Pablo's fried potatoes with green peppers from Hotel in Waikiki Here is my list of things that I wanted to eat today and have been craving since yesterday and have not eaten. I am on liquids for 2 weeks because I had a fill and want to make the best of the 3 days of liquids they put you on. It felt better to write them down. I sit right by the break room at work and can smell everything that is cooked. It made me feel a little better to write it down. Anyone else have some cravings??
  12. Well, I'm just glad you didn't come back with some story about a drive-by or being in a gang with your gunshot wounds...I'm glad you got such great care as long as you have been waiting for it. You are back in the ballgame now!! Good Luck!!
  13. I have been upset since I have had no restriction since my first fill a month ago. I have my next fill scheduled for today and what do I feel the past 2 days but restriction. It is my PMS time and I remember that it was also during my last fill and had restriction during my last fill also. It sucks to only have restriction one week out of the month...I hope my second fill does me better!
  14. D... I'm glad you got some answers and hopefully can live with the band a little while longer before rejection. Just one question?? How do you know what a bullet wound feels like?? Please don't tell me from first hand knowledge!! HA! Hang on to that band as much as you can!
  15. That is totally awesome!~! I am so proud of you~!

I live right by Dallas and there is a specialty shop that carries every bra to man and nice little ol ladies that will measure you and find the bra you need for the occasion you want. They even can custom fit them to you with trimming and sewing in the right places. They are genious and I had no idea they had places like this until I was looking for the right bra to go under my wedding dress. They even repair old bras to make them fit better. Before, if a wire popped out I would have to spend another $44 on a bra at Lany Bryant, but they fix em right up for you! You should look for some where in your area that does this. Hopefully there is an old fashioned place like this in all cities!!
  17. Let me tell you what changed my mind. I pondering what to do and a met a friend of a friend and we got on the subject of wls. Well at the end of our discussion she let me in on a secret. She had the gastric bypass 3 years ago! She was at least a size 22 sitting in front of me. She told me I know what you're thinking! SHe said she lost all of the weight down to her goal size in 18 months and then after that she just started gaining again, stretched her pouch and now was thinking of doing the gastric again to lose weight again! I just can't imagine having to go through that twice. I had no idea you could gain hat much weight back after the bypass. Just some food for though. With the lap band you just have to tighten up if you are gaining weight back! Kim
  18. Congrat Leatha...back on your way down...now where did I put that slide??
  19. I must have read right past it...Dango work gettin in my way of reading all of these postings carefully.
  20. I go to the Surgical Center at Richardson in Richardson, Texas and they charge me $50 with insurance and $200 without. Lord only knows what they charge my insurance...
  21. One other thing...do you still have your gall bladder. That is where I had my gall bladder pain and it almost always happened at night with horrible pain and the feeling of horrible gas that wasn't there...maybe look into that if there are any more problems...I hope you're feeling better now!
  22. Ok, I am 2 months out and I am going to start over too. I just now feel a little restriction and am not making the best of it. I am following all of the bandster rules and making an appointment as we speak for another fill. I need to get on the exercise bandwagon. I am starting over NOW!
  23. I'm doing the same exact thing!! I can't get my mind right and want another fill thinking that will do the trick... I know after I have been on liquids for a while I am good for cravings and hunger and such. I'm thinking of putting myself on liquids for a week to flush my system. I have to do something before I blow a port out...
  24. I used to love beer, but now I have a new favorite drink that is non carbonated: pineapple juice and coconut rum. It is the best combo ever. I still drink cokes like a bad bandster they don't give me any trouble but I am sure I won't lose weight while drinking them. I am also not very restricted, so I am sure that is why they don't bother me. I need to cut carbonation out all together...That will be my new resolution for the year. Congrats on your surgery date and good luck with everything. You found an awesome place for friends and answers!
