This is my before and current. 163 pounds I'll never see again. Someone told me this morning, I've lost a Backstreet Boy. Good riddance.

Thank God we're safe! We managed to squeeze my husband's truck in the garage (no small feat) and about 30 minutes later, it was over. Lost power but only for an hour and a half.
I'm in east Texas. If it is the same storm coming towards NC, hunker down and get ready! That was a wicked storm! No damage here. The neighbors have a tree on their house though. Going to check on them in a sec. My poor little tummy is in knots right now. I guess too much adrenaline!!!

I don't do this because I'm not an emotional person but it means the world to me that you guys care enough to pray. My mom wouldn't even wake up. It's weird to feel strongly and close to somebody you've never met. I have a special love and IMMENSE respect for all of you that took the time to post well wishes. <3

I was really debating whether or not to take them in front of the tree, but wife said absolutly.
I'm 7 months out now, and less than 1lb away from having lost 100lbs.

I'm sorry that ur having complications. I can only imagine having to fight off regret. I had times where I regretted surgery in the beginning and I didn't even have complications. I hope that u have a speedy recovery and that everything will heal up nicely.
Here's the inspiration part... The sleeve saved me. I was always a fairly active person before the sleeve, but I wanted to do so much more and my body was holding me back. I stopped doing things because I would panic that I'd get stuck in between two rocks when hiking or caving. I could no longer play at the lake on our boat with my family because I couldn't get out of the Water and onto the boats steps. I stopped riding horses with my youngest son. I hated going to sports events to watch my oldest play football or run track. It hurt so bad to sit on the bleachers without a back or stand for an hour and a half- forget it. I started missing good stuff. The list continues- Water slides, roller coasters, taking the kids to fair...
Now here I am almost 10 months later. I'm at goal and am considering losing 15 more pounds. I love love love that I have no limits. I can truly do anything that I want to. My family has to now keep up with me! since being sleeved I have gone kayaking, indoor rock climbing, climbed to the top of the tallest waterfalls on the west coast of the US, and became a runner! I can run up to 20 miles. I'm doing a marathon in March! I enjoy my life! Think of all the things I can now do with my family. U will be able to enjoy tons of adventures with ur little one. Hang in there! Sending u hugs and positivity!

Sorry for what you are going through, but I know than in a very short time, it will just be a memory. Stay strong. 

I am also scheduled for Dec 27th. I am starting to get nervous a little. I feel like everything I have learned and prepared for is slipping out of my head and being blinded by nerves and excitement. All of a sudden I am like, oh my gosh - what do I do? LOL.

Two days to go- I can't believe it!!! I don't know about you guys but I am so sick of liquids right now I could scream! I do have to say that I am pretty proud of myself making it through 3 twelve hour shifts in the ER without wavering and sneaking the taste of a Christmas cookie :-) I am so excited and ready to get this done. Oh my gosh me too! We had a family Christmas Saturday and geeze at the sick relatives I had over! Luckily I'm still feeling good but several of them had a stomach bug:-/

I had surgery on dec 5th, 268, and today I weighed in at 247. My highest weight Nov. 7 when I started pre-op diet at 277.

yes sex will be be different because you will have more confidence in your new skin!!! Even if you have excess it will be ok because your new hubby will love you regardless! Wish you many unforeseen blessings in your life!

Just wanted to send along an update.
The first pic I am at my pre surgery weight of 320 lbs this fall. Had my sleeve done 10/08/2012. The last two pics are from this week, 10 weeks post op. I am currently at 252 lbs. I hope to be at goal around 180 lbs. - 68 lbs... half way there!
Appreciate all the real support here. So glad to be on this journey with you.
My knees and back don't hurt anymore as they used to. I enjoy working out and being active. Already more comfortable sitting on those questionable chairs .
It's Christmas Eve and I already feel like this surgery was the best present ever.
Can wait to loose more an get to goal. Can't completely imagine what if will be like then. Hope it's awesome!

My New Years resolutions are to start the couch to 5k. (I'd like to do the "run for your life" 5k in march). And to start some toning and weight training!!
