Thanks so much for this great idea bunnyK! I went and ordered one from kohls today can't wait as I always forget to take my colace and have issues this will be much more nutritious and fun.

One goal I never thought I would reach is getting the "money lines" or the magic v muscle I'm not sure what its actually called but here is mine

TPN is total parental nutrition. It is given by some physicians to help patients who cannot absorb or cannot eat usually due to severe illness or complications of surgery. In my past practice I have noticed it is very rare for usual surgical patients to require TPN, so the chances of you requiring it are slim. In addition TPN is always administered through a very large central line IV and one is usually quite ill when they are needing this type of therapy. Hope that helps.

I had the lapband in 2009. Starting weight was 288, lost 60 pounds then gained almost all back. Got the LapBand revised to the Gastric Sleeve in June 2010. Starting weight was 279 now I'm 195! So to sum it up, I'm 7 months post op and I'm down 84 pounds since then, but down 93 pounds overall. Patience is key...Up your Protein, and strength training/cardio. I feel sexier now, love shopping and feeling/looking young like I should!...Forever blessed! Good luck to you all!

I was sleeved on April 3rd my starting weight was 362 and I am at 293 so 69 pounds are gone. My working out has been sporadic at best so I really need to get my lazy butt to the gym...

Sleeved 4/1 at 25 years old. As of today, lost 61 pounds.

Just checking in for June! Sleeved on 4/3, down 68 lbs since surgery. 84 down from my highest weight. Best decision I have ever made, hands down! Congrats to everyone on their success!

48 lbs in the past 3-5 weeks and you're "disappointed"...?
What in the heck has happened to us as a society to where this could even be remotely considered something to be "disappointed" about?
I'm disappointed that you feel disappointed about this instead of celebrating your new healthier life.

So on Tuesday I went for my 2 month checkup.
Surgery 4/8 - 554lbs
One month - 489lbs
Two month - 469 lbs!
Lost another 20 lbs and I'm super happy. I am working out now and walking all the time. It's amazing what it feels like to have energy!

Get em girl! Insurance companies want you to give in and give up but I'm glad you're not!! I made sure with my insurance every single form/paper they wanted and I made sure I had copies of each, my surgeons insurance ladies (while VERY nice) could be forgetful... I wasn't having any of that...

Went on a hiking trip last weekend and came back feeling like a new man, this was the best decision in my life !! For all the people that are about to have or thinking bout having it.. From everyone DO IT ! Haha

I FINALLY got a call back and all my paperwork was submitted on Monday night. Please send positive thoughts! I'm really hoping for this and if so maybe I will start a YouTube about my journey!? Who knows?!

My coordinator emailed me Monday and said all my stuff was submitted. She said normally 2 wks but not usually that long and she'll check progress in a few days. They are a wonderful office to work with!

Im doing my pre op test and i called the insurance and they told me im approved for my surgery on march 5th. Im so excited!

I would call... the RN case manager was surprised that I had already done so much without calling Optum first. Not that anything wasn't already authorized, but my employer suggested contacting insurance asap to get in the system and have my RN assigned to me. I just like to be ahead of the game because i'm so excited! And I could always call my nurse with questions without bothering the surgeons staff because that's what she was there for
