  1. I just poted this in another post I think it will help: The key is sip then wait a few seconds then sip ,wait, sip wait. If you stay on it you should be able to get 4 ounces in 15 minutes. Thats 16 ounces in 1 hour. So it should take about 4 hours. When I woke up in the morning I would take out all the fluids I had to drink for the day and put them next to me with a pen and pad. It took all day but I got it in. When I didn't I was dizzy felt faint tired and sick(it was very scary, got hospitalized once because of it). Till today when I'm low on fluids I get dizzy and lightheaded when standing. Its difficult in the beginning But these few month will shape the way you eat drink for the rest of your life. liquid is a very crucial part of having this surgery. So, find a way to make it work. Stay strong and baby steps you can do this

  4. If its not in the house I wont think about it or want it. I keep fiber one brownies in the freezer for when I am in the mood for chocolate. You need to blog every thing you eat. It forces you to see your mistakes and fix them every single day! Keep your calories around 6-800 calories. 70 grams of protein. 64 ounces water.exercise. Stay strong.
  5. I had one twix bar today. It was so good. But the last time I ate chocolate I can't remember. Don't make it a daily thing and enjoy yummy yummy I love chocolate
  6. I use gatorade low calorie 45 calories a bottle. I'm almost six months out. In the beginning I drank lots of regular powerade.
  7. YIKES! It will fall off when your body is ready keep up with the fluids and protein. That is what always breaks my stalls.
  8. My Doc said if it don't hurt then go for it. Sex drive definently goes UP UP UP after surgery
  9. I weight my self every Sunday Last Sunday I was 205 pounds. This Sunday I will weight again and am dreaming of the scale reading 199! I started this path at 288. My highest weight was 300. (Depression and sadness can really kill you) At 12 I weighed 230 and was able to wear my fathers pant that were a size 38! Today I'm so exited and ecstatic that I'm gonna be in Onederland and it is real! I no longer feel bad about my self or am self consious when a thin person passes by. I love my sleeve and am so lucky to have finally found the greatest awesomest(is that a word?) tool in the world to help me be healthy and happy with my self. I now feel like a woman. I always felt tom boyish and never felt feminine. So this week or next week I will definantly will be in onederland in over 15 years. Good luck to everyone else and stay strong, If you fall down get right back up. The sleeve makes it easier to
  10. Don't Give UP! Go back to basics. Protein first then veggies. Get in 70 grams a day. Water 64 ounces daily. Exercise if you can. You lost close to 100 pounds that AMAZING! when I stop logging my food I stop losing go to myfitnesspal.com and use that to chart your food intake, protein intake, water intake and exercise. You can do this and the sleeve will really help if you put the right stuff in. You can do this
  11. Very interesting thanks for sharing your thoughts.
  12. DNA and genes. You are probably pear shaped . My sister loses weight on top quickly but has difficulty with the bottom. I thinkthe closer you get to goal the more youll loose. Muscle does weight more than FAT!!! Kepp up the great work

  16. I can drink 20 ounces in 30 minutes. I cannot take big sips though or gulp with out getting pain in my chest and throat. If I take small sips I can drink allot more than the first 2 weeks. I'm almost 5 months out.
  17. Dr.Reisin from Star plastics did TT and Breast augmentation for my sister. She looks great. Also a freind of mine went to him and was very happy with her TT. He gives free consultations too. Hes in Novi 248 735 3800. He has good reviews.
  18. Im not sure how far out you are but I had horrible headaches in the first couple weeks. Dehydration and the low sugar really caused bad pain. If you feel like its too much call your doctor and let him know. I ate popsicle sticks NOT sugar free kind and it seemed to help. Good luck soon this will all seem like a dream and you will be bounce back to normal it takes time for your body to adjust to all the major changes its going through stay strong
  19. If you know you want more kids( obviously you all do) Have your little angels and think about fixing your body later. You have lost the weight and look great so just use shapewear till its time to get the Tummy tuck or whatever procedure you need. I have 3 girls and have decided to put off Breast lift and augmentation, tummy tuck surgery till later on because I am not sure if i'm done having kids. I want a boy. I know 3 girls is allot and they need allot of my attention and help so 80% of me says thats it you shouldnt have any more. then there's a part of me 20% says I want a little boy twin boys actually. I'm insane I know! I wish I had more help around me then I wouldn't think twice and would have twin boys:) PGD
  20. My sister had a tummy tuck and needed help for about 2 weeks. The first week is very difficult ,you can't stand straight up and the meds make you drowsey. I would say 3 weeks to be safe good luck
  21. How many calories do you eat a day? I read that until you get to goal calories should be 600-800 a day. Protein 70 , 64 ounces water. You did start at a low BMI, the closer to your ideal weight the harder it gets to lose. Exercise will make you loose faster. Hang in there it will come off eventually.
  22. Week 1 post op is clear liquids, week 2,3 full liquids, week 4 soft foods. I agree with others its too early to eat fruit. When you start to eat more dense foods you will feel the restriction.
  23. Get away from him, he is dangerous to you and your child.
