  1. Hello everyone My question is has anyone had psoriasis or eczema resolved after WLS?
  2. I am in NY and my WLS center had all the Doctors in the same area so all my pre-op appointments were pretty easy...All i had tp do was schedule my visits and show up all the paper work was fax or mail to my Dr. With that said try to find a wls center that works to benefit you...My appt process started end of October, by the last week of November eli was done with pre-op testing ... I thought this would take longer bc I have medicaid and just found out I yesterday I am approved for Surgery...
  3. Where are you located?

  6. I haven't had surgery, doing all my pre-op testing...Terrible mistake I made was telling my older sister that is also overweight and suffering from hbp about the vsl ...No support, all she did was scream and yell over the phone...She said yhat surgery is not an option ... Also spoke to one of my sister-in-law and she just gave me all the complication and problem that can happen...smh,like seriously I don't know this!! I told my husband and he supports me...With that said Keep it to yourself!

  9. Hi everyone, Currently at my pre-op stage I have seen every specials in the book.... Lol Pcp, Gastro, Phyic, Pulmonary, cardiologist and Urologist all cleared me for WNL. Last appt was with the nutritionists once again the dreadful 7day diet... I feel so ashamed when I see the amount of food I eat and feel out of control... I hate it!!! I feel hungry all the time...My medical issues are serious, I have high blood pressure, diabetes and high cholesterol taking a bunch of meds.. I weight 230 5'4... Can the nutritional evaluación affect the insurance covering the surgery? Can the supervised diet harm my chances of being approved?
  10. Omg, I am not sleeved neither just going through post-op appt and all I can think about is complications and death.... Smh Happ to hear I'm not the only 1...
