I greatly value your positive feed back and reassurance...This has been an easy process for me from beginning pre-op appointment until wait for insurance approval. I prayed if this surgery is for me then God will make the process quick and easy...and that it has been! Also I decided to go with another surgeon because the hospital my pcp is affiliated with didn't have availability until the end of January....omg! And her I am getting sleeved middle of Jan...smh and lol Yes, I agree that with surgery complications are possible so is with everyday living... On 1/26 I will turn 40and I can't continue living in this fat shell and getting sick from all my obesity complications....so with that said Praise God for this journey! Thanks to all

Today was my last visit for pre-op testing,medical review,blood work,chest X-ray and ekg. Surgery date is 1/14 Currently on my second week of liquid diet.Sometimes I am so hungry and just wanting to eat it all...I haven't given in to my headhunger ....so proud of myself! I'm on my way to a healthier me. This site given me so much motivation please continue tell you WLS stories and of course before and after pictures help... woohooo sleevers!!

Congrats on your surgery! I am at my Doctors office for my last pre-op testing. My date is 1/14... I'm so scared excited and emotional all in one...I am happy to read post that have a positive outcomes it helps with the process ...Even thought the negative ones are eye opener and help with post op sign and sympotoms....My crazy brain starts to play tricks on me and doubt.

Will do...I'm so scared! Once all your pre-op testing is done you will be good then you wait for approval ...you'll get a date before you know it.

Yes I am excited my date is right around the corner ...1/14 one more week!

The liquid diet is hard and yes you are going to bee hungry but you most stay strong or your Doctor can cancel your surgery date plus you can end up with serious complication ....I am on my 2week and have to cook for my family everyday...it's not easy but I can't see myself NOT having my surgery 1/14...

Yes I am on my pre-op liquid diet and I am seriously hungry all the time....Thank God I am managing to keep it under control.

Thank you so much for this post...Getting sleeved on 1/14 and I have stop reading the post because I was having second thought do to the negative pro-op comments...some comments are just making me so nervous! My goal is to get of the meds, weight lossvand get my life on track. I know it won't be easy but I see the positive outcome on my surgery ...
