  2. I'll never regret this surgery. At my highest weight 240 at my lowest 200. Still not at my goal. But I'm very happy with my results I thank God for my doctor recommending VS.
  3. Hi everyone Today, was amazing! I was off to work this morning when I forgot my lab coat I'm in the Dental field. My work lab coats are 2x at my starting weight fit tight and never covered my stomach. After VS my 2x lab coat is pretty big...anyway I got to work and had to use the office lab coats which are sizes small.... I screamed for joy when the lab coat fit perfectly!!! so happy
  4. I'm a Jan sleever and a very slow looser start weight 223 before surgery 220 and now I'm 209... I'm happy with my 24pds!! I couldn't loose this before being sleeved plus I'm not in a rush it will eventually happen...

  6. Hi, I would say ask your surgeon. I was sleeved 1/14 and I was told to start vitamis right away. I was told to stay away from jell capsules for 2months. Things will get better!
  7. I am tell you they want it ALL!!! Even your poor boring boiled egg. Lol
  8. My family lives Pasta,rice and all the food that at this time aren't to good for me. My husband and I slowing switched from white grains to all brown and mult-grain. As my mind and stomach get the hang of things sometime is best to avoid sit down dinners ...My main focus is on eating small portions,small bites and chewing,chewing and chewing some more...Once I am in full control we will have our sit down dinner again...
  9. Correction it is actually fish fillets (Gorton's)they're crunchy and breaded with 10gm of Protein 250 calories ....But to me the look so small they look like fish sticks!lol

  12. He eats everything!!! Peanuts, Almond, fish sticks,crab cakes,Jell-O even my cottages cheese!!!! To add insult to the injury guess what he buys me for Valentines day?!? A BIG BOX OF CHOCOLATE!!!!
  13. I had Surgery 1/14 have lost about 20 pounds my weight before surgery was 233 ...Happy with my sleeve!!! I find myself constantly in the supermarket looking for things that I can eat that are high in protein or fiber. Tonight I got fish sticks put them in my toaster oven had a little tarter sauce this was my dinner...who the heck do I find in the kitchen cooking the rest of my fish sticks!?!?! My husband, mind you he has a pasta dish with turkey meat,salad and bread sticks ....OMG!! I wanted to throw the dam fish sticks at him!!!
  14. That is great! Ppl are starting to notice a difference ? So far so good for me. I am on puree foods doing well. I threw up once since surgery. I waited to long to eat then I realized the hunger just hit me...I ate to fast! And there was my lunch. No pain,no problems with liquids. I saw my nutritions and she said my weight loss is very good for 2weeks post op.

  16. Its happened to me as well. Get a tongue scraper clean and brush your tongue twice a day. This will help.
