1)I won't miss feeling unattractive no sexual energy. I wonder why and how I am still married 2)I won't miss ppl making comments like remember how thin she was when she was younger. Or how pretty she would be if she lost a few pounds. 3)sweating I will never forget this sitting down in a nice summer turquoise dress and when I got up it was soaked. 4)I won't miss wearing spanks or girdles all year round. 5)I won't miss changing over and over again because nothing looks right or good.

Thanks, I need a lot of prayer I am scared too.But my life has to change for me and my family otherwise its death from all the obesity complications that o have... Will surely keep posting my experience.

Hello I started my pre-op evaluations the end of October and was done with all visits by the end of November ...I saw Gastro,Pulmonary, Cardiology,nutritionist,urology and of course my pcp....The hospital my pcp is affiliated with had NO available appointment until mid of January ....I just couldn't wait that long my cousin had gastric by pass surgery 8yrs ago at Maimonities hospital and told me the work with you and all of the specials needed are right in the area...she was not joking! After all my paperwork ease done I asked the Dr assistant how long and if health1st will cover?? She said health 1is one of the best ...They take 2weeks to approve and no diet requirements are needed...So here I am with a date for 1/14....Where are you located?

Juny, one word BOTOX...no need to be depressed or sad this is the beginning of new health life for you and there so many other things to help with the downside of weight loss...

Hello all, I had my visit with my surgeon today Dr.Sherwinter very nice and reassuring visit. Before meeting him I was asked a few questions by the physician assistant weight,height,age ect....I told him I was 39 will be 40in January he said Wow!I thought you were 30....I just couldn't help to think after all this weight is gone I will look and feel 30...lol

Mine is January 1 Brooklyn,NY....I'm so excited! Today I speak to my surgeon next Monday final pre-op testing...I feel like everything is happening so fast.Good luck to everyone!

Rootman that sounds great...I think diet plays a big part in this condition ...I remember getting on a glueten free diet for 2weeks and I cleared up nicely....

I'm going to purchase it as well...My scalp is, terrible I have ever lost my hairline. My hair is course it get brittle,dry and brakes ...at times it can be overwhelming....Thanks for the feedback ...

I love fruits and carbs ...I can't have any.

By diet is a little harder no fruits,carbs, meats, I can only have my protein shakes,lettuce,tomatoes, cucumbers,spinish and peppers....Hope I can stick to it!

I was loping forward to hearing some good news are magical resolution after WLS....I hate this condition my scalp elbows,and legs...I have lost all my hair at the middle I wear wigs, weaves to cover up my forehead...smh no luck her with with diets,home remedies and meds....

Ibehere What's your diet like...I know red meat,shellfish and artificial flavors can exasperate the condition. @Lisa sorry to hear that your psoriasis has resolved ...

This is wonderful news to hear I have been suffering from psoefir over 6yrs my hairline is gone.Mr leg stomach and leg have Patches...this surgery is a true blessing .....thank you for replying!?

Hello everyone, Can anyone tell me if pre-existing conditions such as psoriasis and eczema resolve after WLS?

Hakyna, I was so concerned about my pre-op diet evaluation ...but then I realized that this is why I am having WLS so don't worry and record all your daily in takes.....you will be fine...Today I saw my pcp and she was totally exited about the outcomes...she recomenrthe lapband I spoke to her and explainedmt concern in regards to it and she agreed....This has been pretty straight forward for me ..nmy concerns and worries are posr-op....

I have browsed through the YouTube videos ...But switch quickly to before & after shots..lol a little chicken I am...lol I start my liquid diet on 31st ladies lets help each other its won't be a piece of cake...Did some say cake?!?!lol
