  1. Cowgirljane how long did it take you to get a handle on portion control? Did you ever have a problem post op? I'm 3 months out and still find myself eating until it hurts!
  2. I think it's already been said, but I'm wondering is you are low on potassium. I hope it all gets figured out! It's weird that your abdomen and calf muscles hurt. Is it any better?
  3. I probably took them for about a week to help me sleep.
  4. Does it feel like muscle pain? Or internal?
  5. Hit send too early .....it also has a set volume so one learns how much they can eat and its their new normal. No fills or expanding a band.
  6. The band never seemed like a good idea to me. When I was younger, my dad even offered to pay for it and I refused. The sleeve helps with hunger
  7. The hotel I stayed at had wifi so I kept in contact with everyone via Facebook.
  8. I've never heard of pain from losing weight either, but what do I know? I'm glad you're ok! Let us know what the surgeon says!! XOXO
  9. Awww Fyre! I just saw this now and hope you're alright. Try to stay calm. I'll be praying for you. Let us know what's going on!
  10. Way crazy!! Haha. He's going to see your incisions, right? Wow keep us updated!
  11. Cheeseburgers are good for the soul....
  12. It gets better, I promise! I felt the same way pre op and for the first month post op. Now, it just makes me sick to see all the food on tv. I usually watch tv after dinner when I'm full off of a small amount of food!
  13. I lost no weight the first week and lost 20 by the end of week 2!
  14. Oh man, food funerals. I've never felt more miserable! I wish I hadn't done that either. It's so not worth it!
  15. That's a huge NSV! I had the same problem pre sleeve. Also, yesterday I noticed I don't have to tilt my booty over to put my seatbelt on anymore! Haha!
  16. If your not used to taking vitamins, I would suggest starting out with a multi so you get used to taking them every day and you'll be healthy for surgery.
  17. Ohh the fat person image.... I think that is a battle on it's own. I don't see the slimmer me until I see photos or when I'm on one of those surveillance cameras in stores....I'm like, who is that?! My brother lost over 100 pounds and still sees a fat person in the mirror. Bottom line is the surgery is working. It's working great at that. I was 50 pounds exactly heavier than you and only lost five more pounds. Keep up the great work and give yourself some credit!!
  18. I think you're right on target. What was your starting weight? It's been less than 3 months you're doing great! I've lost 47 and my surgery was 11/3.
  19. Pretty much everyone that I told, told everyone else! That's ok though. Most everyone has seen me struggle with my weight and for the most part were supportive.
  20. I was that way too but now at 3 months post op it has subsided.
