  1. Woohoo! It'll be here before you know it! May I suggest not doing any food funerals. I did big time and I wish I would have lost weight before surgery rather than gain! Haha good luck! I'm rooting for ya!
  2. Where do y'all find the protein bars?
  3. Great idea, Kim! Thanks!
  4. So class starts today. I will be there for 4 houts and need something to bring to eat that doesn't need to be cooked/ heated. Any ideas? I was thinking meal bars but have never tried them. Are there any tasty low cal, low sugar ones out there?
  5. You both look great! Congrats to you both but an extra congrats to your wife for whoopin your butt!
  6. If you think you're going to lose weight daily, you're gonna get depressed a lot!! You're doing fine, no worries!
  7. My insurance covers it too but I would have been devastated if they rejected me after doing 6 months of their pre op crap! Plus it was still cheaper going to MX! Best decision I ever made!
  8. I miss Netflix for the documentaries! Thats what made me stay away from fast food permanently! Lol. Maybe I can rent that one. Not sure if I've seen it or not (I've seen so many).
  9. My day yesterday : B: 8 oz cup of milk and almonds raw L: lettuce wrap w/ turkey, olives, and feta S: Protein shake D: 2 oz lamb, feta, olives wrapped in 1/4 pita S: fiber/protein bar
  10. When I went in Nov., my mom stayed at the hospital while I stayed in the clinic the first night. You go to the hotel the next morning.
  11. Bahaha! You're right, maybe I should have left that last part out. I don't want anyone to confuse my positivity with negativity.
  12. Nope. Just a thank you to those who are helpful.
  13. Leila is right. The color may not be even. But, I've colored my hair twice since surgery and it came out beautifully. When you say perm, do you mean to add curl or a relaxer? Either way, the chemicals are a little more harsh than color and it may not curl/relax your hair properly. Its probably safe to wait 8 weeks for better results but if your hair is falling out, the chemicals may cause more hair loss
  14. I love all the posts on this site and without you all, I'd be so lost. I was sleeved in Mexico with no follow up and all my post op instructions were on two pieces of paper. For those who answer respectfully to those struggling, you rock! I appreciate those who don't have a sense of entitlement to be rude or look down on those who need help or feel a need to say what's stupid and what's not. So, thank you for helping my journey along and making it successful!
  15. HEB a grocery store in Texas.
