  1. You're right, no matter how much you research, you're never fully prepared until you go through it. If it makes you feel better, tomorrow I'll be 7 months out and I feel completely normal. It took about 4 months to get used to my new way of eating and now I don't even think about the actual sleeve. I'm just focusing on getting healthy. Food choices is still a struggle but I don't miss overeating. It gets better. The only choice you have is to get through the tough food phases. Good luck!
  2. Haha well it works for one. My old scale would give a different reading everytime I step on it.
  3. Who cares what route you took as long as you took it!
  4. My new scale came in today! I'm 5 pounds less than what I thought! Woot woot!
  5. Oh yea! Juice diet ...
  6. Atkins Every diet pill Weight Watchers....great program but couldn't stick with it Cabbage soup diet Grapefruit diet Slim Fast I've lost and gained 50 pounds 4 times and I'm only 29!
  7. At a month out, I'd try it at home first. You don't want to ruin your concert. The first glass I had was about a month out. It was white wine and I only drank about a half a glass. It upset my stomach and gave me a headache. Have fun at the concert!
  8. Thanks y'all! Yea there were long red strands EVERYWHERE!! I wasn't sad to see it go. Plus, it only takes 5 minutes to dry now!
  9. I picked some up today. Spread some peanut butter on them and it was a delicious snack!
  10. And feelin sassy! I've never posted a picture before so hopefully it worked! Happy Friday!
  11. I'm sure there's reason. You could be super impatient like me and just go to Mexico!

Not sure if it's true but someone told me the bones in your foot get wider with the more weight it has to carry. Something like that lol.
  13. Yes! It's normal to feel that way. I know I did. After all we've been through, it'd be nice to have immediate results! It took me a few months to just relax and let my body do its thing. Now I'm almost 7 months out and 80 pounds down. I still have 50-60 to go but I'm enjoying the transformation. I try to forget about the sleeve itself and just focus on becoming healthy.
  14. Eating around the sleeve is easy! Eat a cupcake, wait 30 minutes, eat a handful of Doritos, wait an hour, have a few cookies, and so on. I know because I've had a day like this before. It's important to know the rules are easily broken and really work on your addiction. I don't think I'll ever be "cured" but I find ways to occupy my time. It's something you have to be conscious of 24/7! Good luck to you and this is a great place for support!
  15. Hey everyone! Hope y'all are still going strong! I went to my mom's for memorial day so I took a couple days off. Last night I was able to do most of jillians no trouble zones which is a big challenge for me! My body is really hurting today lol. Today I did 10 minutes of yoga and 45 of zumba. I still haven't weighed or measured because I don't want to get discouraged. Plus my scale is broken lol.
  16. You're almost 7 months out Laura! Lol. Great job on the treadmill! I wish I had room for one. I've done horrible on my water today! I need to get to sippin! That's probably why I feel crappy today.
  17. I use flat out bread. Rub olive oil on it and bake for 7 minutes then add your toppings and bake for another 7 minutes. Its crispy and delicious! They have recipes on their website.
  18. First of all you aren't going to lose everyday. I only lose weight once ot twice a month. Meaning the scale only moves once or twice a month. I don't even care to weigh myself much anymore. I feel amazing and weighing and obsessing over a number would take away from that. I'm down about 80 pounds in a little less than 7 months. Your weight loss will not make sense or be consistent but you will lose! Don't have crazy expectations and it will not be devastating!
  19. Well, doc said it's going to have to be taken out. There's too many stones for a prescription. I haven't called the surgeon yet
  20. Bahaha Danyelle! Your post made me laugh and congratulations! My hip has consistently gotten worse since my last post. Last night I did yoga specifically for hips. I don't feel pain now but we'll see. I haven't weighed or measured lately. I'm not giving up!
  21. Giiirl, I eat bread....are you crazy?!?! Hehe! Now that I think about it....I don't eat much bread anymore. I'm going to try those magic pops!
  22. Probably due to diet. Also, were you a caffeine drinker and stopped? The headaches should subside in a few days. Good luck!
  23. I had bad reflux and over the counter stuff did not work! I got a prescription and I haven't had it since! Plus I only pay like 2 dollars for it. See if you can get some too. It's been a godsend!
  24. Hey Laura! I saw those magic pops at my grocery store and thought of you! What do they taste like? Maybe I'll get some next time.
