Beware! woman traveling to TJ
Either way this is someone you can't trust. I don't want anyone I can't trust operating on me, seeing me naked, having access to me while put under, administering drugs....etc!

Beware! woman traveling to TJ
I'm glad that the doctor has been outted. This situation is wrong and unprofessional. If I were planning on going here, I would cancel after reading this no matter how wonderful the team is. Our lives are in these doctor's hands. If you had not consented, who knows what he is capable of. He has access to put drugs in IVs! This needs to be reported officially! I personally wouldn't be comfortable going here. Think about it, who knows how many other women there have been, he has a long term gf, he's taking advantage of patients. Who's to say later down the line he won't force these acts on someone helpless?

12 week Transformation challenge for vets
Climbing Enchanted Rock was still very challenging but easier than before. We did a lot more exploring this time. Climbed down in caves and climbed down the way covered in boulders rather than the smooth way. Overall, it was a success! I think for the first time my husband is a little annoyed with me being sleeved. This town is mostly for drinking wine at wineries and beer at the brewery and eating. I've thrown up from a beer and our mini fridge is full of food! Haha! This was the first time I've vomited from being sleeved. We're still having a blast! Hope everyone is having a great week!

Just gonna go ahead and put this out there.....
I hardly have any before pics either and wish I did. The scale says I'm down 85 pounds but I don't have a visual of how far I've come. If it means anything, I think you're gorgeous! Good luck with you're surgery!!

Hubby gets a shout out!
No lie, the very first night I got home from surgery, my husband baked chocolate chip cookies! He's never done that before and I almost killed him! You gotta good man there haha!

Hair loss post op vs. after childbirth? More, less, same?
After my first son, I lost a ton of hair. I have super thick hair and it thinned a lot! After my second child I had the sleeve two months later so I thought I was doomed! But with the Vitamins and Protein overload, my hair is growing just as fast as it's falling out. So, yes it's falling out but not thinning. Now I just had my gallbladder removed 2 weeks ago and I hope my hair stays thick!

Is the year dragging or is it me?
I felt that way too. But now its already been 8 months since surgery! I can't believe it!

Husband problems..
Your story is exactly mine pre op. As soon as I returned from MX, he was so happy and totally supportive. He was scared I wouldn't make it but never admitted it or knew how to express himself other than with anger. I'm sure your husband will come around after it's all done.

Girl, I am in the same boat! Blessed with the butt not with a bust! It took me forever to find a swim suit! I bought it a little tight so I can get through the summer with it. Congratulations on the loss!- i am such a hypocrite!
I honestly don't even notice. Without paying someone to cut out most of my stomach, I couldn't stop "shoveling" food into my mouth either. Put yourself in their shoes. They haven't had surgery. We all know how hard it is to control ourselves around food. The only difference between us and them is we have forced portion control. And maybe more motivation because of all we've been through. I'm pretty good at only worrying about myself though. Live and let live! Adults are 100% responsible for their own actions.- Boredom and old eating habits
Brush your teeth! That always takes my desire to eat away!- How 154 pounds looks on 6 women
That's crazy!- kudos to an amazing woman
Awww I teared up too! The love and support between you two is priceless! Good luck, Phoenix, I will be thinking of you on July 2nd!- regreting this whole thing
Fitted clothes makes a HUGE difference! No way in hell will I wear saggy jeans. As soon as I start feeling frumpy, I go get a new pair! I'm wearing my size 14s I just bought at Walmart for $13 right now and feeling great! I don't even want to take them off ( I've been a size 20+ since I can remember!) Haha!- Looks vs. Health...looks 1 health 0
I was going to say the same thing!- Looks vs. Health...looks 1 health 0
I did it for all of the above!!- regreting this whole thing
It's weird how our bodies lose weight. I'm losing mostly in my lower half. I've always been proportionate but now my biggest fear is happening. Skinny legs with a big belly :/ I still have 50 pounds to lose and I'm starting my workout again today. I'm staying positive that my top half will catch up! I'd rathdr have no curves than what I'm becoming haha! I'm going to do Jillian Michaels workouts too. They are great at shaping the whole body. I've ordered some on Amazon for 10 bucks and a couple at Walmart for 10 too.- 12 week Transformation challenge for vets
Great job, Fiddle!!!! As you all know I haven't been able to work out the past two weeks! So I have to start all over I'm cleared to start today! I started at 220 and today I'm 210! So close to being under 200 and being an overweight BMI instead of obese ( I'm 5'9)! Woohoo! I'm going on vacation Monday but it's a hiking and climbing rock formations vacation! I'm so excited. We go every year but this year will be so different. I'm excited to see how far I've come physically. I will report back!- regreting this whole thing
30 pounds in 5 weeks is great! So, you haven't lost anything in 2 weeks .....girl I've gone over a month with no weight loss! It's part of the process. I go to the thrift store and buy jeans sometimes with the tags still on them for 10 bucks and shirts for 4. You're only a month out, give it time.- How much time to take off from work for surgery?
I took 3 weeks too. I'm a hairstylist and 3 weeks was perfect!- BMI of 39 - anyone have to gain weight for the insurance to cover
At least you're able to gain weight to be approved. With my insurance you bave to be over 40 BMI for 5 years!- November 2012 sleevers
Surgery weight was 296 and today I'm 210. Down 86 pounds! I was hoping to be at goal by my 30th birthday in September but I don't think I'll lose 50 pounds in 3 months! So my new gaol is to be 180-185. Hell, I'll be happy with just being under 200! Congratulations to everyone for you incredible success! - Bittersweet NSV
