Going crazy

Had my sleeve 5/22. Started pre op diet 1 week earlier. Have lost 26lbs since start of pre op diet. Why am I not happy with that? Shouldn't I be? After everything to get here I guess my brain expected my body to be at goal when I got out of surgery. Lol!

I can't be the only one dealing with this.....right?

Yeah wouldnt that be nice ,,have surgery and poof we are skinny the next day... but it doesnt work that way unfortunetly. I am out 10 weeks and down 38 pounds ... i am a slow loser when i compare myself to some people on this board , But its my body and I am proud of my loss and it may give my skin a chance to catch up so maybe that is a big blessing. You are doing great!!!! Be proud and keep up the good work ... We will get there !!!!!! ;)

I agree with Yazzy. You're going to do it; just not over night. LOL

Yes! It's normal to feel that way. I know I did. After all we've been through, it'd be nice to have immediate results! It took me a few months to just relax and let my body do its thing. Now I'm almost 7 months out and 80 pounds down. I still have 50-60 to go but I'm enjoying the transformation. I try to forget about the sleeve itself and just focus on becoming healthy.

Or as my mother would say: "If wishes were horses, beggars would ride."
