1. During liquid stage I had cream of chicken, mushroom + broccoli (strained), cheese. I alternated each day. Had no problems.
2. I did fine with everything but pork. But I realized the one time I tried and got sick it was too dry. So now I always have some type of sauce to dip it in if needed.
3. If I'm in a pinch I go with the meximelt from tacobell. Ground beef, melted cheese, and tomato! Amazing and I eat just a few bites, save the rest for later.
4. When you can eat cauliflower pizza crust is amazing! I'll admit when I was in liquid stage I took a bite of a hamburger, chewed and spit it out. Once I had the taste I was fine.
5. You can eat a lot of different things try this app ziplist. First thing to search for is emilybites. You will get some good ideas! While I was recovering I made a recipe journal of things that sounded good. Helped to keep focus and I posted the do not eat list on my fridge.
6. If your looking for good recipes download ziplist on andriod. I was stuck and needed new ideas! Great thing is you save a recipe and the app will create a grocery list for you! Hallelujah!
7. Sleeved dec. 28 Lost 50 lbs
8. Thank you Jesus, my butt stayed and my thighs left! Why this is posting sideways? No clue!
9. Just wanted to let u know I have pcos and fibromyalgia! Since the day I got out of surgery I am 98% better. Both symptoms have calmed down so much. I kick myself why I didn't do it sooner. Migraines are almost none existent. Stopped my prescription and can use Tylenol to control! I also have iud hurt like hell the first week and putting it in, after I am loving it!
10. I have it too and the only thing that effects my weight loss is stress. I just went thru some major life changes...ie moving out of state, and was stalled for almost 2mo. But now things have leveled out and I am losing again. Just don't neglect water and veggies. I always do when I am stressed.
11. I use sliced zucchini as lasagna noodles and layer them with the meat and cottage cheese. My family loves it. Not sure on calories though.
12. I used to freeze my in little baggies and then defrost and puree, works great. Also would add sour cream and cheese.
13. @popsicle: I was sleeved dec. 27, surgery weight 242 now I'm 215. I just got off a three week stall. It comes off as needed. Once the body adjusts to the new eating habits the pounds drop. Don't be discouraged. Keep it up!
14. Omg! I am speechless. I don't know if its out of wonder or fear lol! Only because I never had issue before, I'm a multiple girl!, and sex was always amazing. So now I don't know whether to be excited with the possibilities or kinda scared this is gonna get out of control! Lol
15. Listen is your husband a specialist? No! And one thing I have learned is everyone is different. I am sorry you are getting no support from mr. Know it all. But this is a big change mentally and physically. All I can say is keep reading as much as u can. It helped me to understand each persons journey is different. I'm sure u had a idea of how it would be but u never fully understand till u in the situation. If u can learn to shrug it off then do so. And come here to talk if u need to! One thing I did is while I was recoving in the first few weeks is make a recipe book. I put in all the one I could find for puree stage and soft foods. So I have a lot to choose from. That has helped me. And stick with what does taste good and expand from there. Best of luck!
16. Too many complications with the band, not good. Chose the sleeve after doing a lot of research. Best choice in my opinion! Not as many side effects but that can also depend on the person.
17. So. Cal, orange county! Dr. Ali/LePort at Orange coast memorial!
18. Take cream of chicken soup add enough milk to make it runny like a sauce and slowly add lemon juice to taste. I use this for my salmon pinwheels. Its good.
19. I mixed cottage cheese and shredded mozzarella into the ricotta as well. Loved it! I used to make stuffed shells but added cooked ground beef and sausage. Which I am going to do once I can eat solids! Minus the pasta shells of course.
20. Had grilled mahi-mahi yesterday smothered in tartar sauce. It was delish. I'm 4 weeks out.
21. But does it taste like its not lite and fit! Most taste like they are

If u are ok to have cream of wheat or oatmeal u can use ur protein shake as the milk. A friend started doing this so she could get double her protein cuz she was having a hard time too.
23. Just be careful with the greek yogurts because they do have high amount of sugar. The best one I found was yoplait 100 calories, 10gm of protein and depending on the flavor 6-9gm of sugar. It was recommended 8gms or less per serving so u don't experience dumping, sliming or even headaches.
24. I cant ever feel my strings. So condoms it is! I will wait till I loose more weight to go in to have it checked but thank u for the look out.
