STOP CALLING IT A TOOL!
That is exactly what I was going to type until I saw you did first! There are plenty of "tools" on the forum

EXACTLY! Crazy peeps.. And their odd dialects

Lunch ideas? Sheesh, I'm still working on the idea of getting out of bed!

When can we drink soda
Sugar, real or fake is just going to make your body want more. I haven't had carbonation for years because I believe it robs the skin of hydration. Ok, done with my Sunday sermon.. Do whatcha want, but don't expect all the answer to be what you want to hear. It's a public forum and you asked a very debatable question. If and when you decide, on your own... Well, then CHEERS!

SELF PAY QUESTION
This is sooo unfortunate.

Low cost, cash pay option
I would not feel comfortable having major surgery as an out patient.

Low cal salad dressing you might enjoy
I bought Bolthouse at QFC, Albertsons, Fred Meyer and Whole Foods and I think PCC.

Swallowing pills and Anti-Depressants after sleeved?
DO NOT STOP YOUR MEDS without your drs knowledge. This could cause serious side effects. Because it doesn't effect some doesn't meant won't for others. Talk to your prescribing dr about getting tablets, maybe? I take Effexor tablets for migraines and took my meds every day without any trouble.

***warning graphic pic*** hair loss hairball
My hair is almost to my waist so the hair balls are more like hair meteors. I try not looking at what I pull out of my brush. This too will pass.. Yep. ;D

Need positivity from post op peeps!
Here, here .. Positive peep here too! The minute I got to hospital I was flying high on attitude and haven't let myself down yet. I went in positive saying the minute I wake up I'm walking any pain away and getting my life on track. No pain at all and walking and vacationing the day after surgery. Near 5 months now and not an issue to be had. Heh, to be honest.. I think I willed myself no pain or issues because I didn't want my husband and son to be able to say the dreaded "I told ya so" so.. I set my mind over matter and I couldn't be happier. This was my last resort so I'll be damned if I'm going to fail and be miserable the rest of my life. I AM GOING TO BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY and so are you I love my sleeve and like others say.. I'd do it again in a heart beat. You're going to do fine and even if you happen to have a little pain it's workable. Ok, I'm rambling.. But it's a positive ramble ;D

First time hurling... Blood. Normal?
Could be an irritated esophagus from vomiting. Is it red or black? Red usually means irritation and black means it's coming from your digestive areas and needs medical attention. I'm not a dr though so.. It's your call
-
collagin drink...who is taking that
Never heard of this.

When I was banded they told me I wouldn't be hungry either...
I don't think anyone should count on not being hungry. No one really knows if it's head hunger or possibly real true hunger. Some have it and some don't.

Low cal salad dressing you might enjoy
The Bolthouse dressings are refrigerated and normally near the salad area
-
Choice of bariatric procedure, based on 20 years of practice
Can't and won't recommend something with so many issues. From minor to severe.. It's too costly!
-
Low cal salad dressing you might enjoy
Hey F man.. I didn't see this until now. I guess we use the same dressing. I guess healthy minds think alike.
-
Did you keep your surgery a secret?
Yeah, you're right and I apologize for responding to a name caller with the same. I guess I just get tried of having to defend myself and others over something that is just not true.

All of my December sleevers...
GRRR.. Almost five months and sitting on 43lbs down. Slow, but sure
-
Pylory bacteria
I did and that was partly the reason for my 18 month wait to get sleeved.
-
Dying to be thin
Yeah.. That's about my weight loss. Fact, it better than me!
-
Dying to be thin
What has your surgeon said about your ability to eat as you did prior to surgery?
-
Sharp pains in left side
When was your last BM? Could be your intestines complaining
-
Is vomiting going to be the new normal?
Vomiting is for a reason. It means you are doing something wrong. It ould be eating too quickly, too big of bites or overeating. Vomiting is abnormal with the sleeve and if you do vomit you need to adjust the way you are using it and get it under control.
