  2. I love this place too, but I'm afraid it may be my new addiction
  3. Glue is the technique that scars the least.. Leave it alone and it comes off when the time is right. Could be a few days to a few weeks.
  4. If you have a history of blood clots and you have swelling in your legs you need to contact your dr ASAP. This could mean you have a blockage due to clotting in the lower extremities. OR.. It could be nothing other then the heat.. But your dr needs to be contacted
  5. That's great! Oh and about the gummy bears.. I'm hooked on my gummy vitamins! Good thing they're good for me, (ok, well kinda!)
  6. Unless it comes in a neck to ankle style it's not going to be on my body
  7. Dec 14 and down 42.. Or 3, LOL.. can't remember what my ticker says
  8. Wellstar has to see you if you are their patient .. They aren't treating your surgery. I must be missing something. But if they are an insurance company/group ...they can say no to paying for anything, but I don't think they can refuse you treatment. Are they saying that patients who are immigrants and had surgery outside of the states are not treatable in their facility also? If its a facility, and tells you they won't treat you they should have their ethics check. (You don't need a bariatric surgeon for follow up). My PCP is great with my follow up. At the many times I had complications with my band and had to be recommended to a bariatric specialist they everyone for me, rehardless of where my surgery was done. I believe it's a law.
  9. Huge difference! It's right.. You don't see it because you critique yourself on a dily basis. I've lost over 40 pounds and no one has said a word to me. You are looking great and I see a big difference
  10. Kristie.. You're so inspirational! Love your boots too! I can't wait until I can wear boots
  11. I'm 4 moths too.. 4 1/2 actually. You're doing great! I wish I would have kept track like you
  12. UGH!.. I took this the day after surgery with my daughters phone n she just sent it to me. First time I've seen it.. YIKES! Oh well.. it was 40 some lbs ago so I'm on my way to better

  14. I am 4 months post-op.
  15. I tend to wear my too big clothes and not notice it until my kids ask me if I'm "trying to be a gangsta"
  16. Is this an iPad friendly thing? Because my lame iPad doesn't play well with others
  17. I totally understand what you're saying. That's why although I wholeheartedly recommend my surgeon I don't not recommend any other MX surgeon (except one, but that's another story not for here) BUT I do recommend my Cordinator with beyond the highest of standards for MX Cordinators. No hero worshiping, just first hand knowledge of many many Cordinators.
  18. I too was truly in love with my band. I couldn't imagine my life going back to fatland. I love my sleeve. I can eat everything I couldn't with the band and that means healthy. Only things I could eat with the band were milk shakes and ice cream. Everything else came back up. I was always severely anemic with the band The sleeve changed my life and I've never been healthier ...ever
  19. My baby is 27 years old.. I'm still trying to lose I bet you can do better than me
  20. Explore Asian is the brand name of the organic black bean pasta at whole foods near me
  21. Not Facebook.. Right here in our sweet little forum neighborhood! Ugh.. I'm going dead and I'm at work so I won't be able to continue my rant until after 7!
  22. That's not nice.. I want my ass in there! Groups on this forum.. Some are set to private so you can't comment or even ask questions. Seems like another "mean girl" club to me. I don't want to have " join" every little group, so I was just wondering why someone has to join in order to participate
