Prior To my surgery I requested no pain to be given to me. I wanted to hurry and recover and I knew that narcotics hinder the process. I was up and out of bed walking tha halls as soon as I woke up. Even if you have a bit of pain thy can give ou what you need via IV or orally. Don't depend on a pump ..
  4. I'm going to play the devils advocate here and just say.. Maybe it's time you both could benefit from therapy? I mean a lot of us can ... and do. You don't seem to have your mind set on anything, but eating and getting full. This is going to have to change in order to progress on any wls journey. We're all food addicts and that is one of the steps we have to work on and change. Without the willingness to change your old ways.. Nothing is going to work whether you have sleeve or not. Your main focus CANNOT be food.
  5. Maybe the turkey stuck in your chest meant you were full? You have to learn the new signs and they may not feel like the normal way you used to feel. If you feel hungry you're attitude probably has a lot to do with it. Set your mind to everything positive and try to get past the negativity you're reflecting right now. Even if you are hungry.. If you eat the right protein your new tummy isn't going to allow you to over eat.. It will tell you. And sometimes it will tell you in unkind ways
  6. I wonder if the insurance companies are thinking the cost of lapband complications are too high compared to sleeve. Heh.. I over ate once and learned my lesson, it was awful. I guess we have o learn lessons the hard way
  7. LOL.. Reminds me of my daughter coming with me to MX for wls. She ended up with such bad diarrhea she said, "you come here for wls and I lose 10 lbs" we still laugh about her having to use all the "anti" meds I brought for myself, but never needed
  8. Wow! Nice job.. You look like a teenager!
  9. Possible inadequate intake of essential vitamins and nutrients and/or prolong periods of inactivity, but like others said.. Check with dr
  10. Same topic, but totally different perspective. My 6 month old grandson is the size of a 18 month old ( his daddy is 6'9") and my daughter was concerned that his Lil' penis seemed to be disappearing ... ? Dr said it's normal for this to happen with large babies, but once he grows to normal proportions he will be happily pleased. I guess being properly proportioned has its benefits

I've been married for 35 years and have weighed 105 to 200. My husband says he's been married to every size in the book and I've been stuck with the same ol' guy forever
