  1. I have been 1 year post op and it has been an incredible journey. But recently i went to go eat at a restaurant and once i got home i threw up and had diarrhea. This is the first time since the surgery. I have eaten at other restaurants before and this never happened. I dont know if something happened in my stomach or if i got food poisoning. Again why would this happen now? Plus i am super dizzy and took medicine but just threw that up too. Help!!!
  2. Highest: 234 Starting weight: 228 Weight Day of surgery: 213 Current weight: 148 Goal weight: 135 Surgery date: 12/17/13 I am in the home stretch of my weight goal. I feel very happy with the results. I have plateaued during the past 2 months. But slowly decreasing 1-2 pounds every week or so. I don't drink my Protein shakes because I cannot handle it still. But I do mix unflavored protein in Soups, drinks, oatmeal, etc... I do look for 'snacks' online. For example: one day I was craving chocolate chip Cookies. But they are very high in sugar and fat most of the time. So I looked up low fat low sugar cookies and came upon the most delicious cookies called Chocolate chip clouds. I like to bake though so I constantly look for healthy low fat recipes. Good luck to you.

So for the past three months (I'm 6 months post op) I have been losing hair like crazy. I was taking a shower and wringed out my hair and a huge wad of hair was pulled out (looked like a mini poodle) lol. I have a lot of hair, very thick and heavy. Now I see some bald/thinning out spots. I take biotin and use biotin shampoo. I read that I will eventually go away but I wanted to dye and cut my hair before August. Would it be safe to do it? I don't like losing this much hair. Any suggestions? Thanks.
  4. I am 11 weeks post op and woke up this morning with really bad chest pains. I kinda felt like I over ate yesterday, so I'm not sure if this would be causing it. I feel like I am going to burp but no burp, just pain. My doctor also told me not to throw up, but I feel like I am. Has this happened to any of you and I am going to make a doctors appt to see why.
  5. If you google "chocolate chip clouds" from skinnytaste.com These are delicious, they are low fat and taste wonderful(: but it calls for 1/2 cup of sugar, so I would either substitute the sugar or add less sugar. But they are very good and help with my chocolate cravings(:
  6. I usually sleep pretty good throughout the night, but when I woke up this morning I felt a sharp pain on my right side. It comes and goes but hurts occasionally. I am 7 days post op. what does this mean. Should I go to the doctors?
  7. I am 5 days post op. I have been able to hold down liquids well. I only drink water and have eaten sugar free jello and sugar free Popsicles. I have gas and burp a lot, which i normal. But when I recently used the restroom there was blood. It only happened last night and this morning. I had my period like 2 weeks ago. Why is this happening? Is it normal?
  8. I am 19 but will turn 20 in April. I got sleeved Dec. 17, 2013 so a few days. I will be starting school on jan. 21. I just wanted to know techniques or ways you told them about your surgery. How did you feel?
