1 year food poisoning?

I have been 1 year post op and it has been an incredible journey. But recently i went to go eat at a restaurant and once i got home i threw up and had diarrhea. This is the first time since the surgery. I have eaten at other restaurants before and this never happened. I dont know if something happened in my stomach or if i got food poisoning. Again why would this happen now? Plus i am super dizzy and took medicine but just threw that up too. Help!!!

Have you seen any of the cooking restaurant expose' shows and how nasty some restaurant kitchens are? I probably will never eat in a restaurant again unless I am on the road with fewer choices. I hope you get well soon.

Don't be worried- I had the most epic food poisoning ever a few weeks ago when I tried a new Peruvian place. Let's just say ceviche and I do not get along. I was on my bathroom floor barfing, shaking, and being sick as could be for almost 6 hours. Also, if you don't regularly eat out, just restaurant food in general can make you sick. Sometimes they cook with way more butter than we are used to, so even at 15 months out I have to be very careful with what I eat or I get to spend some time barfing in the parking lot after dinner.

I could have just been something that disagreed with you.

The first time I ate out, I got horribly sick. I have not been brave enough to give it another try
