  6. Hi Veronica...my name is Joanie and I know constipation Yup!!! My dr and pharmacist recommended Mirilax (or store brand) I put a capful in my hot tea every morning and ...No Problems in the bathroom! My daughter puts it in her coffee, and we both will tell you we can't taste it at all. It does not work like exlax, so you don't have to be afraid to take it before work. My drs have told me that it is perfectly safe to use everyday. Try it! ( I have also recently added a probiotic to my vitamin regimen to help with digestion) Keep eating good, and keep up the exercise and start going to the bathroom and the weight will come off. You're doing great! My nephew had his lapband prot removed due to an infection and has yet to have a fill and has lost over 100 lbs in a yr with just exercise and weighing and measuring everything he eats. So son't worry about feeling like you need a fill, you have some restriction. Let us know how things turn out...Good luck!!
  7. Thanks for the reminders!

  12. I have lost 100lbs with my band and was told that is not typical. And I have a nephew who had his band put in last Jan (2011) got an infection and had to have his port removed, so he still hasn't had a fill...he has lost 140lbs so far. Just wanted to put it out there! Good luck!
  13. I finally just took the bull by the horns and took the capsules...everything seems to be fine. Thanks for all your comments and ideas! Joanie
  14. Thanks for your comments...I think I will try to take the capsules...I'll let you know how it goes!
  15. Have u ever tasted clindamycin... I did do that once...thought I would never get the taste out of my mouth...I even brushed my teeth and tongue....ughhhhh!!!! But thanks!
  16. I'm in a quandry...I am alergic to pennicillin and sulfa drugs and have had mrsa in the past. My plastic surgeon wanted to put me on an antibiotic for staph infections (just to be safe) and he was told by the lapband surgeons that we are not able to tolerate minicyclin...ok, so he put me on clindamycin 300's...but they are these huge capsules and I was told we can't take capsules... What can I take then.???? Any one?

I've had the tt and bl, arms and lower face and am promising myself that the legs will do it for me. Thanks for the inspiration and I'm glad the draining worked itself out! thanks, Joanie
