  1. Did your surgeon make you go through a psych eval before surgery? Mine makes you see a therapist to make sure your ready for the surgery. There has to be a reason why your having these addictive behaviors and a way to get help. I'm praying you get the help you need. The only failure is giving up!
  2. I munched on a lot of celery, I was also allowed all the eggs and low fat cheese I wanted.
  3. One more question. Lol do you all attend support groups? I don't have a car so going would be difficult, only when Hubby is off. Does it make a real difference?
  4. How do you fix the chicken soup and shakes? The directions say its temperature controlled. I tried the soup in warm water and it was awful. How do you make yours?
  5. I can't wait for Garage Sale season to start, so much cheaper than goodwill. So many nice neighbor hoods have such nice cloths.
  6. I am still pre-op and lost 36lbs. Problem is that in the crease between my legs is galded. It's all red and burns bad. Anyone else have this problem?
  7. You may think I'm crazy but when I had my abdominal surgeries, I would carefully roll over on my stomach to get rid of gas. I know crazy, but it helped. I would also draw my legs up under me like a baby does and that would help too, and of course walking a lot. Good luck!
  8. We are going through quite a journey but let's take a minute to pray for the family's who lost someone in Connecticut. Such a senseless tragedy.

  12. When the surgeons at Mayo Clinic did my other surgery, there was a sign by the operating table that said, "Remember they can hear you". Lol. I sure don't want to hear them or feel them!! Glad it was only a dream!
  13. Since I started this journey, I notice more overweight ppl and have to say a prayer for them. Our prayers work and I know how hard it is to lose weight so I want to pray and be compassionate for others. So sad that the biggest issue is ppl are treated unkindly because of their weight.
  14. Way to go! I went to Good Will to,get some tops. It helps when your losing.
  15. I love curves, no men allowed and not a lot of skinny women. It's a great place to get started. If I have to do it at home I won't do it, I have to go somewhere to be accountable.
  16. I'm allergic to most perfumes, killer going through the perfume isle. Lol. I love the Angel sense at Victoria Secret. I do agree that she should pick what she likes. You could be spending a lot of money for something she might hate.
  17. I take biotin and zinc, the zinc does make me nauseous but it's getting better. Pre surgery but on a liver diet so I needed the boost. Nails were splitting and peeling so this has helped. Not noticed a lot on hair except its oilier. I take 5000 of the biotin.
