Support groups

One more question. Lol do you all attend support groups? I don't have a car so going would be difficult, only when Hubby is off. Does it make a real difference?

    I really enjoy mine, and I've learned a lot by going. I actually look forward to it every month. They say that people that attend support group meetings tend to lose about, 20% more, so, that's why I started, but I gain a lot of knowledge by going. Started preop in april at 373, surgery in June at 325, currently December at 213! Support works wonders!

    I would love to go to a support group but I am in the middle of no where. This site has pretty much taken care of a support group. And I have to say- its been the best support group I ever could have wanted.
