  2. Nice to know I am not alone! Can you say SLOW loser? Yup that's me! surgery date was 11/12/12 - to date I have only lost 13lbs! I am super focused this week on water and protein only - I will wait to weigh myself for a few more days and IT BETTER start to go down, or I want a refund! LOL. BTW I used to weigh myself every day and that was not good - don't do it. It is depressing
  3. I hear ya with the protein shakes! I can't drink them anymore. I am able to get in 1/2 bottle of Isopure over the course of one hour though. I need more protein. I started having creamed soups and yogurt before I supposed to also - but my stomach revolted. So I waited a few days and tried it again - a little less pain this time. This a.m. I made plain cream of wheat really thinned out and was able to have about 6-8 teaspoons before feeling really full. I have only lost 9lbs since day of surgery (11 days ago). I thought it would be more - but I'll take that loss. I also am able to eat a whole square of laughing cow cheese. I think I'm going to try cottage cheese today and see what happens.
  4. Wow - sounds like fun - and what are protein pancakes and how do I make em

Wow! Your are my workout hero!
  6. Well you probably should focus on the fact that this diet will make your surgery safer. That is what I try to focus on. My date isn't until 11/12 and I have to lose about 10 lbs on my own before I start my....now get this...two week liquid pre-op diet! I am dreading it. Anyway I have lost about 7 lbs on my own since the end of august. I am super focused - well I'm trying to be...I started at 237.8lbs and today I am at 230.8. big whoop - cuz I have 75+ lbs to go...so think of me when I'm drinking MediFast for two solid weeks you can do it! hang in there
  7. that is an excellent reference tool!
