  1. I asked my dr that and he said yes. The contradiction comes in on sweet things. Atkins markets those with net carbs as well but they count sugar alcohols or something similar. Those don't count. It's always carbs minus fiber.
  2. I haven't found that one yet. Where did you buy it?
  3. Love the beef merlot. A little salty. Not a fan if mushrooms so haven't tried the meatloaf lol.
  4. It wasn't insanely high in sodium. Ate it yesterday.there were maybe 6 noodles in the whole thing. Satisfied the craving very well though.
  5. I've been wanting pasta since I was sleeved a year ago but the carbs are insane. The fact this only has 7 net carbs made me buy 7 of them lol.
  6. There's definitely an adjustment period. The most frustrating part aside from the hell of the first month was knowing when to stop eating. I'm almost one year out and I still can't eat a lot. I think you learn to adjust to it and you don't really think about it. You're probably never going to eat like a normal person so the best thing you can do is learn to eat for the nutritional value and try not to focus on the amount. In the beginning especially the first month or 2 there can be some discomfort with eating. I had a really good surgeon who has a more gradual plan so it makes it somewhat easier to in time eat more varieties.
  7. I've had the 2 breakfast bowls, the beef merlot, and crust less chicken pot pie. They are small and not that much food in them which for a normal person would suck but for us it's actually perfect. Still can't finish one off at one time.
  8. I was in Walmart and they have a couple new Atkins frozen dinners. The one I snatched up was the Pasta one. Has anyone else tried it?
  9. I made this a while back. It was good but more like a frittata than a pizza. It was good but if you're expecting pizza you might be disappointed.
  10. Didn't happen for me either. It's not something everyone experiences.
  11. I made the one with cream cheese and protein powder. It was awkwardly dry. I would describe it like a mouthful of powder with cotton mouth. It really bummed me out because I thought this would be THE way to finally eat pizza.
  12. I let them cool overnight. The butter is unsalted. Im sure you could use margarine if you wanted. Chocolate was unsweetened also.
  13. I will admit I do go to McDonald's periodically. I just order a side salad. It's $1.00, and does the trick.
  14. I just made this one. It's really good. Kind of like a pizza omelette but good none the less. I'll post pics on another message.
  15. I tried that recipe and don't know what I did wrong. It browned like a crust but was more of a mashed potato consistency. As far as this recipe I'd like to know what I did wrong as well. It was super dry and almost powdery. It was however well flavored though.
  16. Congrats on your surgery. The first few weeks will be the hardest. You'll find your pain gets better each day, and pretty soon this part will all be a memory.
  17. There have been some studies about dreamfields pasta and how it might not bee all that it claims. If you have some time google it and see if that might give you some insight. http://www.dietdoctor.com/the-dreamfields-pasta-fraud
  18. It could be any number of things from a pulled muscle, to a cramp, or something more serious. If I were you I would call your surgeon and find out what they want you to do. It's always better to be safe.
  19. In the beginning I was told it could count as liquid.later on I was told not to add it to my liquid count.
  20. You're welcome. It's only natural to have those moments.
  21. Yes it went up and down. I tend to blame the whole electronic machine thing lol. Your weight will fluctuate quite a bit. I look at it like this if your consuming 64 oz of fluid that's 4 pounds. Doesn't necessarily equal something bad just more of how it is. If you become hypnotized with the number you will quickly start doubting yourself. Focus on how you feel. Just because the number doesn't change doesn't mean your not losing inches.
  22. I just posted this on another persons post so ill recycle lol. Stalls definitely happen. I was sleeved 8/27/12 and have lost over 100 lbs. my first stall was a couple weeks after Christmas. I lost nothing for over 3 weeks. I freaked out and started panicking. Then this last weeks he weight just seemed to fall off. In 9 days I've lost 14 lbs. Just keep your focus it will pass.
