I'm not trying to pass judgment here, but it must be the full moon, that seems to have everyone on this board just ready to jump and scratch someone's eyes out. The first post asked to speak to parents of lapbanded adolescents. Not directly to them. I think that if someone is trying to brodcast a television health news program on lap band surgery for adolescents, its a wonderful idea. I wish I would have had my band when I was a fat teenager-because being fat thru highschool was no fun. Be honest don't you wish that when our eating habits started spining out of control we could have gotten control of it? Many things would be different in my life, if I hadn't been fat and had my band in place helping me. I don't know --- Just my opinion..

And I wasn't bashing all men, just my insensitive man.. Don't worry the weekend is coming up and I'm headed to the mall and I made an appt for a massage and hair and I'll show him what a good VAlentine Gift he is getting me...

And besides once you start losing weight it won't be fast (from experience) so you have plenty of time to tell people you have just modified your eating and it will be the truth..

Don't feel guilty, I told and I so regret it, wish I had never told a soul but my husband. People who don't care about you are so fast to judge. I have dealt with lots of peoples stupid comments and I just plain wish I would have kept my darn mouth shut.

I had lipo on my booms, he took fat from the sides and now they look so much better, I also had a tummy tuck, couldn't lipo, too much excess skin, so he had to remove it. But now my boobs actually look bigger because I'm thinner and all the lipo on my back, boobs and waist make them look so much out there, hubby says they look nice, so I guess I will believe him.

I love to make ceviche with tilapia fillets.. I cut the fillets into small cubes and put lots of lime juice and a little white vinegar enough to cover the fish, the lime and vinegar combination actually cook the fish. I let this sit in the fridge for about 4 hours and then chop onions, tomatoes, jalapenos and cilantro and combine it all.. It is delicious, salt and pepper to taste, serve over tostadas or saltines, delicioso!!!

I used Dr. Castellanos he has offices in Monterrey & in Reynosa, Mexico, I went to REynosa because it is right across from the McAllen border and that is where my mom lives. I am 100% satisfied w/ my tummy tuck and my body liposculpture.. The hospital was a private hospital that was very nice, I received awesome care. I am bilingual so the language was not a problem for me. My sister-in-law had a tt w/ him also in December and she is also very pleased w/ her results so far. My cousin who had gastric bypass is getting a lower body lift and tt on Monday. I would highly recommend my doctor to anyone wishing ps. I am contemplating having a breast lift and reduction, trying to convince husband.. but looks like I'm losing the battle, he loves my big breasts... I lost so much weight and didn't lose one bit of breasts now everyone just assumes I had a breast augmentation, which is really funny to me.. If they only knew that this mega awesome bra does miracles and once the bra is off, there goes the miracle and there hang the girls..

Girls, girls I am at 142 lbs, band in place, tummy tuck and all over lipo done, looking pretty darn good and let me tell you what I look damn fantastic in my way too low cut jeans with a thong that is specially made for low cut jeans and I love them both... They make thongs for low rise jeans they sit lower on your hips and actually make your ass look alot nicer than a normal thong.. I am addicted to jeans, I have tons of them, and every week, two or three more seem to creep into my life.. I used to love buying clothes, but you have no clue, what sort of an addiction it has become, its just heaven. I am at a point in my life where I have never been and am just getting it in my head that I am no longer fat and I'm normal, it is such a wonderful feeling. LOVE LOVE MY LOW RISE JEANS AND THONGS

Nope not this girl, can't stay away from the cake or the pie... I just eat the cake and skip the food... I know, I know that's not in the bandster rules... But hey life is crazy enough as it is, I eat cake to stay sane..... Even though its not good for me, hey at least now I only eat a slice, used to could eat half a darn cake...

I want a tattoo really bad, but hubby won't let me, I'm thinking of sneaking off and getting one for my birthday...since my pet name for him is puppy dog, and one of my lapband sisters gave me the name beautiful butterfly, I was thinking of getting a puppy dog, with a butterfly sitting on its nose, what do you think??? Wouldn't that be cute??? I want it really low on my back, I mean really low or in my pelvic area, now that I have a flat tummy I can do it there. I know there are many of you talented artists out there, does anyone want to design it for me?? I'm scared to death about getting it, but I think I'm going to go for it. Does it really hurt that bad??

Well, guess what, I am a cheerleader on the mom squad, in an effort to show support for my daughters cheerleading team, I was recruited to be on the mom squad. It is really funny, never dreamed I'd ever be on a cheering squad. We had our first practice last night and it was hilarious. We are harder to teach than my four year olds team... or so the coach says. Don't worry there won't be any short skirts involved...yikes.. The main name is Southwest Universe so all the teams are named after planets and such, my girls team is the twinkle stars, and well some of the moms wanted to be called "Uranus" but some of the more conservative moms like myself voted that one out.. he, heee... We are now called the Rockets, well just thought I'd share my new adventure. I figured it would be a good workout for me. Oh guess what, I started a step, toning and cardio class twice a week, it is awesome. The instructor is really good, well I'll keep you up to date on my new adventures.:clap2:
