  1. Im still on my post op liquid diet too, i feel fuller when I have drinkable yogurt, and when i take fresh fruit and throw it in the juicer... It doesnt make me feel completely full but it keeps me content
  2. I saw an xray of my esophogus and it was so skinny i can see this happening
  3. Is it easier if you add wet to it (ketchup, bbq sauce?)
  4. Omg dont tell me that! I start food next week and I'm terrified of that!
  5. Buy i can inderstand because I feel like everytime i go to a bbq people are always like " did you eat? Do you want something? Have something!" it is so annoying

  9. Ever sice I woke up from having my vsg i cant help but regret it. Maybe because im still in the liquid phase and i am hungry. I feel ashamed that i did this to myself. I only have 90 lbs to lose I wish I would have just tried harder. I feel like I am torturing my body and can not go a day without crying. When does like go back to the way it was?
  10. Its getting better for me. I am 6 days post op, still having some but its subsided a good amount!

  13. My Surgeon said to call immediately if I developed pain with swallowing! I would call right away!
  14. How long did it take for everyone to have a bowl of cereal, im one day shy of 7 days post op so I have a ways to go, but I miss cereal!

I just got off of the phone with surgeons office, her partnering physician said its totally normal, espcially since i had a hernia that they found during surgery and was removed, (double swelling), that the liquid that is coming down air is trying to come up or some s#%* lol, he said think of your stomach (presently,not in the future) as a water cooler, you push the tab water swishes down air bubbles up. Hope this helps some of you! He assured me that this wouldnt last forever!! Lol i get very nervous! Thanks to all that replied!!

  17. My doctor gave me "reglan" (a reflux type thing) for 3 times a day as well as levsin for esophogeal spasms... But its painful and it took me into a slight depression, will it always be this way? I cant live like this! How long does it take to go away?? Its nerve wracking
  18. Hey there, Im new here. I was sleeved on August 23 2012! So far 16 lbs gone! Anyway, everytime I take anything in (water, protein shakes, soups) i get this horrible reflux, at least I think its reflux, its like i take a sip, my stomach bubbles up an then i feel it come back up slightly with some belch. Is this normal? Thanks in advance!
  19. Im 5 days post op and i'm so lost about how much and how long as well! It takes 30 mins to finish a 11 oz protein shake that is very thin, but thinks like strained creamy soups i just use the whole can, and it takes a looonnngggg time, im having reflux with every sigle thing im taking in and its painfull. It takes me like a day to finish a can of soup. My doctor said it should take one hour.
