My Surgeon said to call immediately if I developed pain with swallowing! I would call right away!

After eating**

Yea thats what I meant (you can see I corrected myself). Call your doc, just to be sure, no harm in calling

Are you chewing you food to a pulp? Are you taking too big of bites? What types of food are you eating and how far out are you from your surgery? I would call you doc as mentioned above.:)

This problem will also depend on how far you are out from your surgery. If it's in the early stages post-op, I would definitely be concerned.

Best to call your doctor's office just in case.
