  2. Good ??'s I've been wondering the same
  3. The vomiting after surg is what I'm most scared of. That can't be comfortable with all the incisions. Praying you feel better soon
  4. Glad you are feeling some better! I'm only a week away!!
  5. Granted this is just opinion and what I'm going through everyone is different. After day 2 I'm feeling better. My Dr's office did say I could have a diet yellow soda. I chose to only drink half and will not do it everyday. I too had a couple of pretzels but hoping today will continue to be better. My nurse did tell me she went into surgery with my dr and that you could tell the difference between 2 patients. One who had cheated and one who had not. She said it doesake a difference in the liver. Goodluck. Hope this helps

  8. Today I have started my Protein Meal Replacement Shakes prior to surgery. It's 9 days and it's nasty. Yes I have done this to myself and I will make it but that doesn't mean it's fun! Goodluck to you all

  11. @nannous. Thank you. I have been waiting for someone to say something like that!! I have started counseling and that along with my WLS I hope my life will be long and happy. Working in the medical field I know some do great after surgery and some have a horrible time. It is different for everyone. But that is what I wanna hear SOMEONES TRUTH. Regardless it it's good or bad! What are the bumps you are talking about. I'm not sure I've heard anyone mention them!
  12. @msnea I've been counting down since I got my date. My whole process has been very quick! I already 6 months of weigh ins and I got my nutritionist, psych eval, and physical therapy eval within 3 days and it only took insurance 5 business days to approve it. I'm trying not to overload my family with my excitement and count down but I'm like a kid in toys r us!
  13. Yes mine starts tomorrow. This may sound weird but I'm not scared or nervous YET! Just excited and anxious!! I would go tomorrow if they would let me!
  14. I am very excited and can't wait. I'm trying not to compare myself to all the other success stories for I know everyone is different but the ones that are saying 30 lbs in 2 months oh my goodness I can only imagine. My highest weight was 340 I'm down to 298 and all of that I did prior to deciding to have to surgery so to imagine a lot more to come off I can not wait!!!
  15. Yes I will start mine in the morning!!
  16. I guess that's what I've done this week. I have been to all my favorite restaurants to get my "last meal" in. Tonight is my final one as meal replacement shakes start tomorrow!
  17. I'm is sch for 9/12/12 and I too feel like a child waiting on Christmas. Goodluck to you
