  1. I agree, chicken or beef can keep me full a lot longer. I think the more dense the Protein the longer I feel full. Which I guess is good!
  2. Sleeved 1/15 as of yesterday down 46.5lbs since surgery, including pre op down 60lbs!
  3. You don't even look like the same person! Wow! How cool!
  4. Surgery 1/15 I've lost 46.5lbs as of yesterday....60lbs total with pre op diet.
  5. Oh good idea! I forget about those Patches. To the OP, those patches are awesome! Hopefully it goes away with the gas strips but if not i would try one of those patches while you're at work!

Lol! That's awesome!! I mean about the pics! Not so awesome about the withholding bf! 6 weeks is going to suck! Good luck to you on that! Congrats on the naked pics tho!
  7. That's weird, I wonder why all of a sudden. Yes, I would call my dr office. I'd like to know the outcome as well!
  8. Mmmmm.....salad! I was so excited I got to have my first salad in 2 months yesterday! It was the best salad ever!!
  9. You sound like you are on the right track and doing amazing! Keep up the good work! Congrats on your weight loss so far!!
  10. Gosh I hear that! Lol! I'm losing the same way!
  11. Wow! How very tragic. May he RIP. Prayers for his family. So very sorry.
  12. Mine is michelle410. Feel free to add me!
  13. Some dr s will cancel surgery if you don't quit. Mine did a nicotine test beforehand. I smoked for 15 yrs, quit last August and had surgery in January. Also I was told healing is harder and longer if you are a smoker. Find out what your surgeon wants. I've read on here that some ppl were never required to quit. I know my body thanks me now for quitting! I don't regret it. Good luck!
  14. I think you will def make it to goal as well. I think it's awesome you shared this! That took guts! I also think it's great you stopped later and realized what you were doing. You recognized it and held yourself accountable and I think that is so important to being successful with your weight loss. No, none of us are perfect and it's so refreshing to see that in a post on here! I have faith you can do this and you will make it thru! Thank you for your honesty!
  15. I guess I just don't see the big deal. I personally am staying away from sugar etc but I've only been sleeved for 9 weeks. Depending on how far post op you are, I agree with johnlatte in that if you account for one I think it's fine. My dr wants her patients to be able to eat like a skinny person. Umm, skinny ppl like marshmallows too so one once in a while I would think would be fine. However, if it's a slippery slope for you I would've very cautious. Then again, you might try one and not like it or it might make you feel sick!
  16. I agree, once you start eating food you will feel it. As for your stall, I'm sure that will break too when you start eating!
