  1. No clue since I can't see what's going on. Try logging back in. What user name did you choose?
  2. Www.myfitnesspal.com. It's a free app and website where you can track your food, exercise and weight loss. Your 'friends' can post encouragement to your posts on there. Takes a little bit of tweaking for our Protein requirements but its fun. There are android apps, apple apps and a website.
  3. Zone perfect is the protein bar I like. Double chocolate. Tried a bunch and only one I found to be decent.
  4. Target and Walmart sell individual bats so you can try a bunch of different ones.
  5. Come to think of it, my surgery was done on an incline. My feet had to be on a ledge before I went to sleep. My lowest scar is in line with mt belly button and the highest sits right where my bra sits. Really doesn't sound right that scar tissue from a c- section would intrude. I agree, see legal advice. Can't hurt. Best of luck. These surgeons have o learn to be responsible for their actions.
  6. Alpine punch and I think passion fruit are my favorite. Nectar makes a fantastic powder that's called Fuzzy Naval that s really thin and tastes like orange juice. Tried most of the other nectar a with no luck on yummy ones. BJs bariatric carries sample packs of nectar. Good luck on finding one that works for you.
  7. I had two c- sections most recently in January 2009 less than 4 years prior to my WLS. My doctor never even mentioned that it might cause complications. I just think everybody is different.
  8. Happy 3 months and 1 day September 25th sleevers! Can you believe it's been 3 months already? Made my Christmas goal of 189 and total of 68 pounds down. Now onto 175 for my 40th birthday in mid February. Happy new year and you everyone!
  9. I made it! 189.6! I usually weigh myself at night and decided to jump on the scale this morning. Woo hoo! Now onto my goal of 175 for my 40th birthday in February.
  10. That's my goal too. Been stuck at 191 for a few days. I'll be happy with 189.9 if I can get there.
  11. Current, 191.6. So close to to Christmas goal of 189. Oh please, oh please, oh please!
  12. I second guessed myself all the way through rolling myself into the operating room. I don't think I've met anyone who hasn't had some sort of second thoughts about it.
  13. I had my first glass at about 4 weeks out and I did fine. Fortunately (or unfortunately depending how you look at it) my sleeve is very tolerant of a lot. Everybody is different. I look at it this way, I need to learn how to enjoy everything in moderation. I've denied myself food, drink, etc in the past just to go overboard at a later time. Having a glass of wine on occasion to me is learning how to enjoy in moderation.
  14. Hello fellow September 25th sleevers! How is everyone doing? I'm doing pretty Good. Hit onederland last week and am down 62 pounds total. Hope to hit 189 by Christmas and 175 by my 40th birthday in February. Can't wait to hear How you all are doing!
  15. Update: 12/7/12 196.6 Maybe I should revise my goal!
  16. At 6 weeks out I went to a tri-annual gathering with two other families. One family knew about the surgery, the other family did not. I talked, I nibbled, had a glass of wine and the "unknowing" family never even questions why I wasn't packing it away like I used to. I was a little dissappointed that they didn't notice my almost 50lb weight loss but at least I didn't have to explain myself to them! I also went on a Disney vacation at 39 days out and had a great time. Yes, I missed the Mickey Mouse ice cream but I survived and had a great trip. Life will resume and will be better than ever!
  17. I thought I was the only fool that wanted to see pictures! I wanted to watch my c-section but the hospital staff said no. Congratulations!
  18. My hospital would no release me either without a ride. We also had to get the kids up early to get me to the hospital. Then hubby had to get back home to get them to school. Its only once, so I just suggest you do it the right way. You do want to have a problem on the way home and have more issues.
  19. Have you considered liquid vitamins? My doctors off gave me a sample of Wellness brand but I never tried them. I am pretty sure they can be purchased at the grocery store or pharmacy.
  20. CFA grilled chicken nuggets are the bomb! 17 grams of protein in four of them! I get the huge party platter, divide in into many 4piece snack size bags and have instant lunch or dinner. Dip in the honey mustard sauce. Yummy!
  21. First and foremost, I want it to be easier to set Protein, calorie goals, etc.
  22. I throw some of my Vitamins in a crusher and then into my morning Protein shake. Don't even know they are there.
