  3. 6 months out, down 65 pounds. I was working out regularly till April and had to stop because I spent 600 dollars on alterations on my wedding dress and did not want to pay for more! Now that my wedding is over I can begin working out again. I start back with 2 months of bootcamp next Monday, so ready for it! I hope to lose 15 or 20 more before the end of August.

  7. I was a car patient and got mine done in Dallas Texas and paid 12,000.
  8. 3 months out and I'm down 45 pounds. I know it's not as much as a lot of people but I am happy with it. I am gaining a lot of muscle working out 4x a week and running 2.5 miles 3 to 4x a week. The first pic was taken a week b4 surgery and the other pic was taken of me trying on my wedding dress 2 weeks ago for my wedding in May. I hope when I take the next pic in my dress ill be down at least another 20 pounds down!!
  9. My doctor said no gum, is there any big reason for that? I really miss chewing gum!
  10. My surgery was the 14th and I will be returning back to work on Monday after the Thanksgiving break. I am a teacher and I teach in a behavior unit so I have to restrain daily and run after children a lot. Hopefully running will not be too much of a problem, I will have to leave the restraining up to to aide.

  14. I just picked up some chicken noodle soup from chickfila and strained the juice. OMG it tastes so good, so much better then chicken broth or can chicken noodle juice.
  15. I was sleeved on 11/14 and have lost 11 lbs since then. I am feeling pretty good, drove to the mall and did some Christmas shopping today. I am not taking any pain meds, just a couple of gas strips during the day. I am having a hard time drinking all the fluids I'm suppose to. Right now I'm doing chicken broth, protein shakes, and water. On Thanksgiving day I get to start my creamy soups. I have been looking up recipes on pinterst to find which one I want to do first. My left side is still really tender when I laugh, sneeze, cough, or bend over, but besides that I think I am doing really well!
  16. Not yet, I haven't really had time to think about it. I am a teacher so I've been busy trying to get lessons ready for when I'm out and finishing up the end of the 6 weeks grades before Wednesday. I am sure the nervousness will hit late tomorrow night, but I'm excited!!

  20. Hey, I started my Pre-op diet today, a day before my 23rd birthday. My surgery is scheduled for November 14th. I did not have to go all liquids, but chose to. Today has not been to bad. I had a protein shake for breakfast and one for lunch and will have one for dinner after I get through with all the pre-op tests. I am very excited, but nervous on how I will feel the next couple of days!
  21. I am getting ready to start my pre-op diet next week and I was wanting a liquid cleanse to do that doesn't taste just horrible! Any suggestions???
