- So, My Critical Mother.....
I opened a second Facebook account just for my WLS. I only have WLS friends on there so I can post about my victories and struggles.- What Does Goal Look Like For You?
I have a "trophy" pair of size 8 shorts I would love to get my butt back into. Ideally, my goal is around 155 which is where I was when I got married almost 14 years ago. My secrete goal is 145 because I can't remember ever being 145. Currently 203 and have lost 52 pounds including pre surgery diet. Less than 2 months post op.- I Can't Wait To Not Have To...
Me too! Just got the wedding band out and back on. Now to the engagement ring and jacket!- Any Pennsylvania Sleevers?

How did you like the LVHC program? I looked into it and them went to St Luke's .- September 25Th Sleevers!
How is everyone doing on their weight loss? I'm only down 8 since surgery and am very frustrated about it.- Any September People
Congrats to all succeeding with their surgery. That being said, I'm so frustrated! 3 weeks post op tomorrow and only down 8 since surgery! Grrrrr. I know everybody looses at different rates but sheesh! 8 lousy pounds? Still have another 75 to loose. Getting protein in, doing my best on the liquid. Very frustrating.- I Start My 2 Week Liquid Pre Op Diet Tomorrow
wow, if I had lost 35 lbs before liquids, I wouldn't of had to go on liquids. My surgeon requires 5% and I was at 9 not 12 so I had to do the liquids. if I had lost the 12, I would only of had to do it a few days before- Singing After Sleeved
I play the baritone saxophone in my adult community band, had VSG, had an esophageal hernia repair and was back to rehearsal two weeks to the day after surgery. I was definitely conscience of my breathing the first number or two but by the end of the 90 minute rehearsal, I wasn't giving it a second thought. I am also an instrumental music teacher and I have had no problems playing with my students. You will probably be given a breathing thing to work on keeping your lungs open at the hospital. Work that baby and you should be fine. I think you are suppose to use it for 6 to 10 days. I would try some gentle warm ups a few days out and see how it feels and increase it each day. Best of luck with your surgery. I'm less than three weeks out and feel great!- Any September People
Wendy's chili is good and cheap! Had the same large container all last week for lunch and then some. Tastes just as good in the blender if you are still on puréed foods.- My Incisions-2 Weeks Post Op
I'm also almost 3 weeks post op and your look so much better. I still have a scab on one of mine. And the one they had to make for my hernia repair is forever irritated because it sits right under my bra.- My Fitness Pal Buddies
Just added you, I'm Barisaxylady on there too- Eating And Drinking
According to my doc, nothing 30 minutes before and 60 minutes after and nothing during.- My Fitness Pal Buddies
Hi ladies! I added you all, please look for my request,- September 25Th Sleevers!
How do you make that? Sounds good!- As The Stomach Rumbles....
One night mine made all sorts of noise! Discovered it was the one shake I was drinking because it did it again the next night. Hasn't since because I haven't had that shake. Almost couldn't hear the tv!- September 25Th Sleevers!
Since I went back to work today decided I better get serious about the protein thing. Shake for breakfast, chili for lunch and chicken for dinner, and protein powder in h2o and only came to 53 grams of protein. WTF? Guess I have to start having Unjury chicken broth for a snack.- September 25Th Sleevers!
Hello all. Started puréed on Tuesday and have the go ahead to start soft foods tomorrow. Got to go back to work tomorrow too. . Feeling pretty darn good. Only down 7 pounds since surgery which kinda bums me out but it is what it is.- Still Have An Appetite 4 Days Post Op

I was going to go to LVH but my work and child care schedule wouldn't allow me to attend all the pre op meetings required. So I decided to go to St Luke's which worked out just great. Had the same anesthesiologist as when I had my daughter so I was thrilled. Loved her! I would love to compare notes on the two hospitals.- September 25Th Sleevers!
Since surgery? I'm only down 3 since surgery. - Two Weeks Out!
