As The Stomach Rumbles....

Is anyone else experiencing loud rumblings after eating? How embarrassing sitting in a meeting & this happens! I know I didn't eat fast at all & I always wait 1/2 hour to drink....

  • A common occurrence. Get used to it. It isn't the end of the world. When it happens, just look at the person next to you like it was them. Bet they won't say a thing...K

  • Better to have rumbling than pass gas...lol

I get it too. Most people can't hear it though.

I had it when I was giving a test...it was deadly quiet. I just figured that maybe it sounds a lot louder to me because I can "feel" it, too? I don't think the kids noticed.

OMG That made me laugh out loud!! I need a good laugh I'm going to do that!

Your title made me laugh out loud!

I haven't had surgery yet, but I've been experimenting with protein shakes today and let me tell you...Wow! My stomach has been griping and grumbling for hours...this would not be good after surgery, I don't think!

13 days out and yes, I hear it. I have been asking people I've been eating with if they hear it and they *claim* ;) they don't!

My stomach was doing that as well has slowed up a bit. It was really loud. I'm only 7 days today :-) also when did you guys start really losing? Today I'm at my preop surgery weight.

That's my sign I'm done. And my nose starts running. I'm gonna be a sexy date lol

Oh yeah, lots of rumbling here all the time. It is not just related to drinking and eating, but I cannot be too certain because I am always either drinking or eating. LOL! I eat a little protein every 3 hours and am drinking otherwise. I keep filling up my 32 ounce cup several times during the day ( at least 4 so know I am drinking enough).

@sweetnurse, I really started losing by week 3. The first two weeks was getting all the excess water and gas out of the system. Months 1 and 2 were my best months and averaged 2-6 lbs a day. 3rd month was a giant stall except for a few days of loss. I can't complain though as I went from 335 to 235 so far. Scale is just starting to move again from yesterday.
