  1. Mahow, don't be too hard on yourself! I, too, struggle to get all my protein and water down. Why is it that the "bad" foods stay down so well? Just one step at a time.....we can do this!

  5. I don't believe her... I used the same group, they were excellent. And I go to the monthly support group meetings where I've met 100's of successful patients. Something is fishy here.
  6. I went to Dr. Halmi at blue point surgical group. Very pleased.

  8. I confess that I can no longer tolerate my Protein drinks...they currently make me barf...so I'm not getting all my protein in. I confess that I have started eating a met-rx protein plus bar (30 gr protein, 3 gr sugar, 310 calories) against the advice of my NUT I confess I usually only get 4-5 glasses of Water down on a good day I confess I am happy about my 58lbs loss I confess I am glad to be 11 weeks post op.
  9. I was sleeved nov. 6 and am losing more slowly than others as well...but I am losing steadily and for that I'm happy! Hang in there.

  14. I'm in the Woodbridge area...we have a great support group the first Thursday of every month. I was sleeved 11/6/12 and have lost 43 lbs. it's a great journey. Good luck to all just starting their journey.
  15. Pre-op 251 Now 208 Lost 43lbs. Lost 31.625 inches Sleeved 11/6/12 Having a lot of nausea suddenly and haven't been able to eat or drink much for this past week. Just feel queasy all the time and the thought of food gets me running to the bathroom. Feels like morning sickness all day but definitely not pregnant. Nth is is awful. Anyone else out there like this?
  16. It's like morning sickness all day long...but I'm not pregnant. It makes me feel relieved I'm not the only one. But, I'm sorry you also feel pukey! Hopefully this is just a phase.
  17. I think 30 lbs. is great. I've only lost 41 since my surgery 11/6
  18. Down 41 lbs. since surgery....feeling ok, but having trouble making myself eat. The thought of food makes me feel nauseous. Anyone else feeling that way?
