  6. I love my fitbit flex....I never take it off and I love that it sync's with MFP. I started with the baby fitbit and then got my flex on my birthday. Since getting my fitbit I've walked more than two million steps and over 850 miles!
  7. I am most worried about my metabolism changing. I initially gained all my weight because I had to go on steroids due to a traumatic brain injury. I was on them for about a year and gained 110 pounds!!! When I went off them, I expected the weight to go away, but it didn't. I tried many different things over the 10 years to lose the weight but my body stubbornly held onto it, thus my vertical sleeve. Now I've lost 106 lbs., but I'm just really getting into menopause big time and I'm terrified it will change my metabolism again, and I won't be able to maintain. I hope this will not be the case as I am finally feeling like me again and don't want to go back to the very dark days of the past 11-12 years!
  8. Keep us posted on what your doctor says...we're all thinking positive thoughts for you!
  9. Excellent posting on slider foods!
  10. I'm going to need plastics, too....but right now I'm too chicken!
  11. Awesome and amazing!
  12. Glad you're home, too! I had a bad bout with dehydration and constipation shortly after being sleeved....no fun at all! Miralax is my best friend.
  13. You'll be there before you know it! Keep us posted.
  14. LOL....thank you Georgia!
  15. Didn't get my photo in! Here it is...
  16. I'm going to be 54 on Friday. I was sleeved nov. 6, 2012, and have lost a total of 105 lbs. to date. I'm 5'2". I'd like to Lise 12 more pounds before my surgery anniversary....the pounds are coming off much slower now. Here is my before and after photos!
  17. I log EVERYTHING I eat into MFP and usually stay around 1,000 calories now (earlier in the process it was under 800) I try to get between 80-100 grams of protein everyday, and I bought a fitbit and I try to walk between 13,000 and 15,000 a steps a day. I also drink between 8-12 glasses of water/liquid everyday. My daily Starbucks coffee is a nonfat, decaf, sugar free (skinny) latte. Sometimes I have a second in the evening. Caffeine stimulates your fat storage metabolism, so I avoid it. And that's really all I do. I am not a gym rat or exercise fanatic or anything. I eat most things, just tiny amounts. And, I really don't eat many sweets yet.
