  1. I was driving myself totally insane weighing everyday. I'm one of those overly compulsive girls that freak out at the least little gain. I have become much more saner weighing ONLY on Saturday morning.
  2. Sorry to ask a dumb question but what does TDEE mean? Thanks for responding
  3. Thanks for the info on quest bars. I, too, love them but at least for now, one totally satisfies me and fills me up. I will monitor how they make me feel.
  4. Is it bad to eat a Quest bar everyday as one meal? I find they help me get my protein in and they are so much easier for me to digest then other protein?
  5. Getting ready to start the maintenance phase very soon and am terrified. Maintaining is always so much harder than losing!
  6. I'm 7 months out, have lost 96.5 lbs. and religiously log everyday. Would love veteran buddies! Thanks.
  7. Ready to lose it.....you...look...AWESOME! Keep up the great work.
  8. Congrats! You'll be at goal before you know it.
  9. Congrats to everyone...you are all doing so well! I had my 6 mo. Check up yesterday. Everything was great except I am low on iron. Have to work on that! Down 82 lbs., 35 to go to get to goal. Woot! Woot!
  10. Down 82 since surgery...would like to lose 35 lbs more. Congrats everyone!
  11. For what it's worth, I told people about my surgery. Most we're supportive, some curious, a few appalled I would do that! Lol. I have a hard time keeping secrets, so telling was the best way for me. No one has said to me that it was the easy way out..,.most have said it must have taken a lot of courage. Good luck on your journey, no matter you decide to say or not say, this is about getting your relationship with food on track so ignore unhelpful comments.
  12. Wow! 100 lbs. gone for good....congrats!
  13. Down 77 lbs. and am so happy! About 40 more to go.
  14. This surgery was a lifesaver. Would do it again in a heartbeat!
  15. You have done an awesome job! Thanks for the inspiration! I am about 6 mo. Out and have lost 73 lbs.
  16. Awesome! You're looking great. Keep up the good work.
  17. My weight is still coming off about the the same....I average 2-2-1/2 lbs. a week. I was sleeved 11/6/12. Starting weight 251, current weight 177. I'm 5'2". Haven't had any major stalls. It's just been slow and steady. Bought a fitbit device 10 days ago and have been doing 10,000 steps a day, which entails either a morning walk or an evening walk. I'm hoping that will result in a good loss when I weigh on Sat. Congrats to all.
  18. I'm tparkerc59 on MFP....sleeved nov 6 and am down 70 lbs. my food diary is open for all to see and I track every day.
