  1. Add me, I'm tparkerc59 on MFP.
  2. I'm 53 years old. Had my surgery on 11/6/12. No complications at all. To date I have lost 62 pounds.
  3. Being able to sit crossed legged on the couch, not having to call in a crane when I need to get up off the floor, and most off all, not feeling like a fat woman has been standing on my feet all day!
  4. Way to go. You both are doing awesome! November sleevers rock!
  5. I just told everyone the truth...and if a waiter raises his/her eyebrows when I order or eat off my husband's plate, I tell them as well. The truth will set you free! I don't think this surgery is anything to be ashamed of. I was more ashamed of being obese!
  6. You look fantastic! Way to go.
  7. WhooHoo I've lost 53 lbs. thus far....love my sleeve. Congrats to all.
  8. Sounds like everyone is doing great! Congrats all. I am 5'2", starting weight 251 lbs. cuttent weight 198. I was sleeved on 11/6/12.
  9. Wow! You look awesome. I was sleeved the day before you but started at a higher weight. I've lost 53 lbs. and weigh 198. I can't wait to be in a size 10 skinny jeans! You go girl!
  10. You look beautiful, happy and confident! What a cute couple you and your boyfriend make. Congrats and keep up the good work!
  11. Awesome results nurse meg....keep up the great work beautiful!
  12. Glad you went to the ER. Getting fluids in is my biggest challenge as well. Because of my lack of hydration I got a huge hemroid which had to be surgically removed (I know TMI) and the surgeon said it was caused by lack of fluid. Can I just say sitting on a donut with a bunch of stitches in your bum is no fun! I'm trying to drink more!!!
  13. Oh my goodness...you look gorgeous! So glad to hear your life is on such a positive track...I love my sleeve, too.
  14. First off, you are an amazing woman and mother! I am so sorry you are having a leak and I hope the rest of your recovery goes as smoothly as possible. Your bright spirit and positive attitude are so inspiring. I will keep you in my daily prayers. Good luck with your talk with your doctor. I think she is probably freaked out about the leak...but that's no excuse for bad behavior. God be with you and please keep us posted.
  15. I am tparkerc59. I was sleeved 11/6/12
  16. So that's why I fall short every day....I need more than 6 hrs. Of sleep! Thanks for the explanation!
  17. Good luck shucky....I love my sleeve and hope you'll be a happy, healthy camper once you heal!
