That's awesome!! congratulations! and that is great that they reduced the diet for you! under my insurance I didn't have to do the pre diet, I just had to have a 5 year history of obesity, ( um I've been fat my whole life easy peasy lol) be over the age of 21 ( I'm 24) and have a bmi of 40 or 35 with an ailment ( I have both lol ) and ( I'm on my dads insurance ) and they cover obesity. so I'm assuming that is why everything went so smoothly. But we're only getting sleeved 10 days apart! go us! lol Keep me updated for sure!

Yay! I just got my date! September 10! I can't believe how fast everything is moving July 18 was my consultation August 15 was my egd and Sept 10 is my surgery wow.. did it go this fast for anyone else?!

Too all- it went well you really remember nothing! I woke up apparently talking about green beans and Ham my favorite foods and I told the nurse I had a dream about a cup of water lol I remember nothing. My throat is only a little irritated and I'm still loopy from the anesthesia lol Ohh and I got my date September 10!!!!

And that would have been weird if I was talking about an egg not an egd lol I'm still a bit loopy from the anesthesia apparently I woke up talking about my favorite food Ham and green beans Ans I told the nurse I had a dream she said. Hey misskatie! I have united healthcare through rocktenn. They submitted my paperwork August 3 and I got my letter in the mail postmarked on the sixth today! They said I fit the criteria so my next step is the ekg on the 15th where I hope they set me up with a date! I hope yours goes as fast as mine!

Mine was 376 true false questions and a questionnaire about eating habits and what not. He also asked about what is the reason I want the surgery and do I have a support group. It's not bad promise! Don't be nervous just the 376 questions felt never ending lol.

Today I got my pre approval letter and I'm stoked! I had my consultation on July 18th I have my scope on August 15th and I'm hoping I can get my surgery soon! How long after the letter do you get your appointment set up? This is a happy day for sure! yay!!
