  1. I understand! ( and SOmetimes my fat girl thoughts come out and I think I'll never be able to eat this or this again!) but I digress lol My best friend also tried to talk me out of it by saying that she's worried and doesn't think I need it. But I know I need it because of health problems and i'm a big girl lol But just hang in there like you're doing! one day our friends will understand why lol (and damnit I really really want a beer... damn pre op.. hahaha)
  2. I'm sorry to be a Debbie downer.. but I'm so nauseous and I'm only on day 3 of 14.. lol I can't wait til the surgery is over! Its so hard to eat the food and drinks that they provide cause I don't wanna eat. But on the plus side I'm down to 262.4.. yayyy haha

  9. It really is! to not feel alone during this journey! But girrl, we got this! This is the hard part. more mentally than anything ( besides them chips.... lol ) ! We got this!
  10. I know how that is, I just recently told my bestfriend.. she took it okay, she's just more worried about me than anything. She would be an excellent candidate for the op as well. And that's right, stay positive I know how hard that can be during this time but you can do it!
  11. Yes, I'm on September 10th, my bmi is like 39.98 something like that and anything over 35 -49.99( at the place I'm going) needs a 2 week pre op diet,. if you're 35 or under you only have to do a week! lucky ones lol! I hope you get it soon!!
  12. My nutritionist also said you can have alllll the chicken, veggie, beef, seafood, broth you want as well as sugar free drinks. along the lines of what jrzydva said! so I plan on stocking up! just think a week or 2 of "diet" will get us ready for surgery then we can start losing the weight we need too!
  13. Calm down sweetie ( sorry I'm not being degrading) Things get better, it does feel like you have to jump through a million hoops just to get a better lifestyle. and let me tell you there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Things will look up for you just hang in there and like you said, don't give up or give in! Fight for your life! fight for a better longer future! You can do this! And you can tell any of us on this sight (and talk to us) because we all know what you are going through, we've all been there and are still there! we won't judge or condemn. This is a place of understatement and encouragement! So be uplifted! -Rachel

  15. Mine starts the 27th (monday) and it is not a liquid diet like I thought it would be, I have a diet where I eat these 5 packets plus one bar a day, they are high protein and I'm supposed to eat like every 2-3 hours. I wish you so much luck with this liquid diet, and I know you can do it! we all have some stresses before the surgery, I'm trying to quit smoking and it's just so hard. You can do this and I'll be a big cheerleader for you! YOU CAN DO IT!! lol
