Symptom can be nasea pain starting from front wrapping around your back,throwing up, can't stand sit wak,shortness of breath each time pain last longer. hi im marie may have posted earlier but an up date my surgery is aug 7th started at 217 w a bmi of 35.9 height 5'2 was suppose to be sleeved may 21st denied day before surgery from Aetna did the pre op and all lost about 13 lbs from that then gained back now on pre op again which by the way is only a meat and veggie diet no carbs or dairy i started this thurs now down to 206 but to get to this point i had to jump through hoops apparently fatty me wasn't fat enough but i fought and won so wish me luck.....

As stated so many times before me. I had a drain in the hospital and it was removed before I went home. It never hurt at any time. The removal was only weird feeling and it was about 18" long. But it never hurt! You can handle it..........no problem!

I was sleeved on a tuesday and home friday morning. I could have driven that afternoon if I wanted. I drove Saturday to my mom's for a family lunch. Your seatbelt doesn't even touch your incisions (or atleast not mine). I did stay in the house a lot the few weeks following because it was difficult to socialize with my friends when I couldn't eat or drink. I'm 29 and live downtown Seattle, so you can imagine my social life evolves around happy hours, restaurants and sports bars! Ive been out a few times lately (even had a few drinks, despite not being 30 days post op :-0 )

HI MY NAME IS MARIE MANY HAVE SEEN ME ON HERE FOR A WHILE MY SURGERY WAS SCEDULED FOR MAY 21 2013, TO FIND OUT THAT THE DAY BEFORE MY SURGERY I WAS DENIED BY ATENA AFTER ALOT OF FIGHTNG AND APPEAL I WON AND GOT APPROVED MY NEW SURGERY DATE IS AUG 7TH. WOULD LOVE TO CHAT W SOME PEOPLE DURING MY JOURNEY.. LETS SUPPORT EACH OTHER AND DO THIS TOGETHER
