  1. Yes, you'll feel normal again give it some time. You just had surgery, the pain meds can make you feel like crap! Once you are moving around a bit more and "eating" more food you'll feel better. I'm not allowed wine until I'm six months out so, sorry can't help with that one.
  2. Congrats you look great and so happy!
  3. I think you'll be fine, the first few days are the hardest. Good Luck!
  4. Yes it just takes a little time.
  5. You can order sample packs from Unjury, honestly adding ice and putting it in the blender makes a big difference, I bought a little one from amazon and it was the perfect size. http://www.amazon.com/Oster-BLSTPB-WBL-250-Watt-Blender-Powder/dp/B004P2OLB8/ref=sr_1_24?ie=UTF8&qid=1360960770&sr=8-24&keywords=blenders+for+smoothies
  6. Muscle Milk is vile... what about unjury Chocolate Splendor or GNC Chocolate Caramel they are both pretty good. Do you add ice and put them in the blender that really helps.
  7. Congrats and good luck!!
  8. Can you try another brand of protein shakes?
  9. Speghetti's O's? Why? It's all carbs and garbage...
  10. I was allowed to drink coffee one week post op, call your doctor and ask.
  11. Honestly, you're not going to be able to eat much... soup or soft fish or maybe chilli try taking a look at the appetizers.
  12. I also have 2 young daughters, but I decided it is better to be in Hospital a night for surgery than be dead from a heart attack before they grow up.
  13. I looked KetogenX up its a new protein by Bariatric Advantage -- basically you go on a liquid diet for 2 weeks before surgery, (to shrink your liver and make surgery safer) as many of us have. As for the low D, I too had the same problem and take supplements to increase my levels. Many doctors require some kind of weight loss before surgery, mine require both pre surgery weight loss and a pre op liquid diet.
  14. I use Myfitnesspal.com to track everything, I am more conscience of the protein than the calories -- but tend to be around 800 calories a day.
  15. Good Luck everyone! You can do it!!
  16. I had to wait until 3 months out -- ask your doctor or NUT.
