Is it normal not to have bow movements and a lot of gas a week afte surgery???

yep it took me about a week to poop! I finally brokedown and bought miralax from costco...the huge two bottles of it. You don't appreciate being regular until you can't poop!!!

yes, it is! you can put some benefiber in your shakes to get yourself started:).

Yup, what goes in must come out. No solids in, no solids out ... at least, for awhile. About a week out, I started on daily Milk of Magnesia. Continued to take it for a week to ensure everything kept moving along.

Totally normal. I take two sugar free chewable fiber pellets each day. Equate brand, fruit flavored. No fiber, no go.

Yikes! Does this mean I will always be irregular?

It was almost a week before l dropped my 1st deuce.. During that time, my burps and farts were just nasty.. Lol... But once l dropped my 1st turd, literally, it felt great.. It was just a wee little tootsie roll, but still it was a turd.. Now l poop about every other day, and thats at 7 months post op
